Surely the end of days is upon us. A friend of mine was a missionary in Ghana in the 60s. The children at the school had to chant,

“Nkrumah is our father, Nkrumah can do no wrong”

There was no doubt in his mind that this chant to a Catlick Darkie was ungodly, so he soon changed that to “Eisenhower is our father, Eisenhower can do no wrong” but the principle here is that this is political indoctrination – and it’s a typical jigaboos trick!

Now some people have made the speculation that Obama and his cabinet are going around appearing on every major television network whenever he wants, covering up his Kenyan birth and Manchurian Candidate brainwashing at the hands of Al Queda as a youth, subliminally indoctrinating children through his "stay in school speech," and forcing children to sing and dance praises of him like some kind of Kim Jong Il-esque tyrant.

To those people I point out the fact that Obama is actively working to fix the economy, run two wars simultaneously while traveling the nation pushing his health care reform. It seems like this guy has a lot on his plate. Anyone that believes that Obama is doing nothing but going around subversively brainwashing the nation through carefully planned subliminal messages and careful indoctrination of our youth like some kind of modern-day Hitler is living in some kind of fantasy world. It's this kind of tendency to resort to wild conspiracy theories and baseless allegations that have made the GOP look so bad.

No, the far more likely and logical explanation is that PRESIDENT OBAMA HAS INVENTED A MACHINE THAT CAN STOP TIME. That is correct. Now I may not have any "evidence" of this, but just stick with me on this one. President Obama is actively working to fix the economy, run two wars simultaneously while traveling the nation pushing his health care reform AND is appearing on every major television network whenever he wants, covering up his Kenyan birth and Manchurian Candidate brainwashing at the hands of Al Queda as a youth, subliminally indoctrinating children through his "stay in school speech," and forcing children to sing and dance praises of him like some kind of Kim Jong Il-esque tyrant. How can a man accomplish all of that in the same month? Most of us would be lucky if we could do all of that in two years! The answer is obvious, Obama has some kind of a machine that can freeze time, suspending all of humanity --except for him-- in some kind of stasis while he goes around accomplishing all of these things.

Your explanation is intriguing Wash, and definitely has merit. Permit me to propose an alternate idea that occurred to me during the past week.

Last weekend Obama appeared on no less than 5 talk shows, many of them on the Sunday morning circuit. This week he spoke at the UN, and almost simultaneously appeared at the G20 summit in Philadelphia. He was also seen on Letterman, in school class rooms and press conferences. I tried to do a matrix of all this and it appears to be impossible to get to all those places given the constraints of our current transportation technology and Air Force One.

I personally think that there are multiple Obamas, and this is certainly possible give our present technology and the known audio animatrons at Disney. Did you ever notice what happens when Obama's teleprompter has a glitch? He stops talking. I think that the teleprompter is used as a cover for when one of Obama's cyber-clones has a glitch – they just blame the teleprompter and the press and public is lulled into believing they are seeing the "real" Obama.

Ammunition Shortage Frustrates Gun Owners, Dealers


At Mark’s Guns on Dixie Highway in Florence, it's a simple case of supply and demand.

Joe Beck, general manager of Mark’s Guns, says the same box of ammo that used to cost about $25 a box now costs $74.

In the fall of 2008, the fear of higher taxes on guns and ammo linked to the November elections caused a buying spree at gun stores nationwide. Nearly a year later, it's still hard to find ammo.

Beck says they are aren't price gouging.

"It's the same percentage as it was two years ago or three years ago. We're making the same percentage, we're just selling lots more when we do have it in stock," says Beck.

According to the National Rifle Association, every year Americans buy about seven billion rounds of ammo. Last year that number jumped to about nine billion.

Some gun owners are trading in models that take expensive ammunition like the 50 caliber Desert Eagle and opting 22 caliber pistols, which take less expensive rounds.

Beck says their gun range is taking a hit.

"Nobody can afford to go out there and shoot how they used to,” said Beck.

Tony Buckingham, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., was at the range Thursday. He shoots the hardest ammo to find – 380s.

Buckingham says he has all the local gun dealers on speed dial and even knows the delivery schedule.

"Basically I call them everyday, I mean it's just like a part of my day,” said Buckingham.I “Get up and eat breakfast and I think about who I'm going to call that day to get ammo."

Buckingham says his strategy saves money.

"Every now and then I get lucky and I find some, more often I don't,” he said. “But when I do, I come here and I blow it out the end of that gun and have a good time."
