Isn't it funny how, whenever you actually know something about a subject that the media is reporting on, you notice that the media are getting it wrong at best and lying the rest of the time? Isn't that a funny coincidence?

Right....So, no doubt you gamers, being civic-mind, socially engaged, patriotic members of the community who will fight to the death for free speech....No doubt you called up their publisher and reserved a copy on principal, while praising them on their commitment for making risky gameplay innovations, and for bringing up the concept that maybe, just maybe, games could be an art form, rather than the childish twitch-porn that they have always been....

And of course you gamers wrote a letter to the editor to tell them that you are angered to have your intelligence insulted by an article which is a completely baldfaced slander on a game company simply because it is in a competing form of media....And that seeing that newspapers are going bankrupt, they may well be bought by a game company someday and therefore should Consider Your Situation....

And of course you all contacted the UK End the War coalition to tell them that you ate a cute, fuzzy, and very tasty animal in honor of their de-facto banning of what looked to have been the world's first anti-war game....

Oh, you're getting around to it? Right after you've gone upstairs to your mom's fridge to make a pistachio-paste sandwhich, and put another 10 hours into your "completionist" run of "medal gear solid", which has nothing to do with watching mr. "solid snake" and his skin-tight-spandex-clad butt wiggling and crawling in the center of your screen....

I don't really play video games, and I haven't seen this one, yet, but I don't think I would ever buy anything like this for my nephews if it encourages anti American terrorism like the EA designers want. If you have to play video games and shoot people, it might as well be NAZI zombies. Everyone hates those.

here's the link to the trailer. this seems more of an average combat game bent on killing mudslimes rather than anything else, although its extremely saddening to me that you can make the choice to fight with them as well.

Why do all these Nintendo game companies have to pander to the lowest dregs of society? Can't they make a game that doesn't have sex, violence, and anti-Americanism in it? And when they do feature religion it usually glorifies Satanism, witchcraft, and paganism (like all those Roll Playing Games).

Why can't games be simpler. How about Bible Trivia? I bet that would sell a lot of copies because kids love video games and play whatever is handed to them. Plus, many of them would learn more about the Bible. The only reason kids play these violent Columbine simulators is that those are the only types of games on the market! If they had a "Bible Trivia" game, it would make millions.
