I thought that Rev. Flint's response was quite clear? If they're Lutherans they're NOT spreading "the word of God" are they.

Let me get this straight: You're telling us that you think going undercover and cooperating with a police investigation to take down Papist pedophiles is wrong because it's "spying?" And you regard pedophilia as some kind of art form!?!?!??

        FYI: Lutherans are not Christians.
Pastor Zeke, the source you linked to seems a little hostile toward the idea of getting baptized. He even appears to be saying baptism isn't necessary. Surely I am confused! It is necessary to be baptized, and to have it done when you're old enough to understand what it means, yes?

so what would happen if you got Saved but dropped dead before the baptism?

A most insightful question, Mitza! I dare not speculate, however; I'm sure I can find the answer in the Bible if I just look hard enough.

Sister MitzaLizalor, I think we can see from this episode that sometimes Jesus grants exceptions to the rules.
Luke 23:39-43 -- And one of ye malefactors, which were hanged, railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, saue thy selfe and vs. But the other answering, rebuked him, saying, Doest not thou feare God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed iustly; for we receiue the due reward of our deeds, but this man hath done nothing amisse. And he said vnto Iesus, Lord, remember me when thou commest into thy kingdome. And Iesus said vnto him, Uerily, I say vnto thee, to day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.
Now we know from other scriptural verses that the malefactors were highwaymen who murdered to get the goods (if you look at the Greek words used) yet Jesus promised Heaven to one of them who simply defended Him and asked to go to Heaven. I look at this as first the one saved malefactor performed a good work, i.e. sticking up for Jesus, then believed in him, i.e. had faith that Jesus was God. I just don't see highwaymen stopping off to get baptized on their way to crucifixion.
