New allegations follow arrest of ex-bishop and retired priest

Police investigating allegations of sex abuse against a former bishop and a retired priest say 10 more people have alleged they were victims.

The Rt Rev Peter Ball, 80, a former Church of England bishop of Lewes and Gloucester, was arrested on suspicion of abusing eight boys and men.

He was arrested on Tuesday at his home in Somerset...

Donaghmore priest Fr Terrence Rafferty guilty of indecent assault

The former administrator of Newry Cathedral has been convicted of indecently assaulting a teenage girl.

Father Terrence Rafferty, who was the parish priest of Donaghmore, pleaded guilty to four counts of indecent assault on Monday.

The details of the case were only released on Thursday after a court ban protecting the priest's identity was lifted.

This followed a request from the victim.

Guess they won't be able to shuffle this pedo off to next diocese (as is their usual modus operandi).

Just some facts on the whole abuse scandal.
11,000 victims over a time of 50 years were found in the Roman Catholic Church. Most of these were before the 1990's

290,000 victims over a time of 10 years were found in the American Public School system.

The Catholic church has taken many precautions to help fight this, including an very extensive training you have to go through whenever you want to help work in the Church.

Public schools have done little, if anything to help solve their problems.

A prominent and respected Connecticut priest has been indicted along with four other men in an alleged plot to sell crystal meth.

Monsignor Kevin Wallin and another suspect, Kenneth “Lyme” Devries, were arrested Jan. 3, after law enforcement discovered evidence of meth, drug paraphernalia and drug packaging materials at Wallin’s home, reports the San Clemente Times.

The U.S. Attorney's office claims that Wallin sold shipments of methamphetamine to an undercover cop six times between September 2012 and January 2013. Wallin is believed to have received the meth from California.

The Catholic priest busted for allegedly dealing crystal meth was suspended after church officials discovered he was a cross-dresser who was having sex in the rectory at Bridgeport's St. Augustine Cathedral.

Monsignor Kevin Wallin was relieved of his duties in May, but the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport had continued to pay him a stipend until his Jan. 3 arrest -- a day he was planning to fly to London on vacation.
