  • Pentecostals: Demon possessed gibberish speakers for Satan.

The Pentecostals have been around since the 1800's. They are the ones who are the TV con men and traveling snake oil take the money and run false prophets our Lord warned us about.

They claim to have always been in the church and I believe that to be true to a certain extent. Satan does love to attack God's Church with heresies.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The documentation that they are scoundrels and cheats goes on and on.

Benny Hinn's expose in A Question of Miracles.

Marjoe Gortner explaining that Pentecostalism is all a scam and how it is done in the 1970's. He even explains how so called speaking in tongues (more on that later) is a lie.

    Robert Tilton
another speaking in tongues gifts of the Spirit liar exposed as the fraud he is. He fornicated with prostitutes and bilked people out of millions.

Jim Bakker an Assemblies of God pentecostal and founder of the Pass the Loot network was caught being a homosexual and a fraud.

    Peter Popoff
a traveling sideshow circus pentecostal preacher. He knew all about people in the audience because his wife was radioing the information into an earpiece. It wasn't the Holy Spirit telling him.

This is merely a tiny fraction of the number of Pentecostals who have been caught lying and stealing throughout the years. I could go on and on.

    On glossolalia

It's gibberish that means nothing. It's pure mimicry of others speaking in something that resembles a language. One person speaks in repetitive nonsense and then the other pretends to translate it. The beautiful thing about the translation is that the person who spoke it doesn't know what he or she said. That leaves it open to the "translator" to come up with whatever meaning he wants it to have.

    The fraud Marjoe Gortner explains.
"Tongues is something you learn," he emphasized. "It is a releasing that you teach yourself. You are told by your peers, the church, and the Bible -- if you accept it literally -- that the Holy Ghost speaks in another tongue; you become convinced that it is the ultimate expression of the spirit flowing through you. The first time maybe you'll just go dut-dut-dut-dut, and that's about all that will get out. Then you'll hear other people and next night you may go dut-dut-dut-UM-dut-DEET-dut-dut, and it gets a little better. The next thing you know, it's ela-hando-satelay-eek-condele-mosandrey-aseya ... and it's a new language you've got down."
    But the Pentecost is Biblical.

It sure is. Let's get to the scriptures.

    Acts 2:2-4
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Whoa! Whoa! Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they did start speaking in strange gibberish.

Nah, I'll just keep reading the chapter to get the actual context.

    Acts 2:5-8

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

So you can see the Pentecost was an actual miracle. Everyone could hear everyone else in his own language. They didn't start speaking in BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA. They spoke in their own languages and the other people could understand it. There were no translators involved.

What does the Bible say about this ability to speak in tongues today?

1 Corinthians 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

It was a gift that the early apostles had. If the apostle Paul is to be believed, it will fade away since his time.

You can skip 1 Corinthians 14 now, but since someone is going to quote it at me, even there Paul is skeptical of all the people attempting it.

19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

What about all the Pentecostal flopping on the ground?

A place where the Bible mentions people acting like that is when they are in fact possessed.

Mark 3:11 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

    Possessed? The Pentecostals?

Does it really come as such a surprise? Paul tells us to avoid vain babblings.

2 Timothy 2:16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Jesus tells us to avoid vain repetitions as the heathens use.

    Matthew 6:7
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Who are you serving when you fall around on the ground speaking in strange tongues?

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Since Paul tells us that speaking in tongues has ceased, what are you doing? You are inviting in demons through arcane witchcraft. Ephesians 6:12

Any Pentecostal would recognize this magical incantation as speaking in tongues if it were said in his church.

That's right. You are invoking strange and ancient witchcraft and its demonic familiars.

If you are a Pentecostal, I want you to repent of your satanic gibberish. I want you to speak in your native tongue to God and quit trying to impress Him with your made up language.

The first step is to admit that you are angering God and that you are using a made up language that no one really understands. At least ask yourself why the "translators" of this language are always one of the people trying to get money from you.

The second and perhaps most important step is to quit giving these Pentecostal con men your hard earned money. They don't care about you. All they want is your donation. If they have to lie, cheat or con you to get it, they don't care.

And it's not just the TV preachers and traveling con men that do it. It's all Pentecostals, charismatics, Assemblies of God and all other speakers of the so called tongues. Once you are so gone that you are willing to summon demons to make people give you money, you have blasphemed the Holy Ghost and you will be damned no matter what.

What you, dear reader must do is starve the beast. Say no more million dollar a year salaries for these liars.

    Thank you and God bless.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Re: Pentecostals: Demon possessed gibberish speakers for Satan.

Godly sermon, Pastor. If the Pentecostals actually read their own proof texts, they would understand that what they do is not of God and never was of God:

1 Cor. 14:22-23: Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying [serveth] not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in [those that are] unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

1 Cor. 14:27-28: If any man speak in an [unknown] tongue, [let it be] by two, or at the most [by] three, and [that] by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

Does either of those sound as though God has ever wanted a whole congregation to babble incoherently together?

I'll take our own Landover Baptist preachers--they deliver powerful sermons every Sunday with no need for the Pentecostal business of carrying on.

God speaks English--what is this business of speaking in tongues anyway?
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

You need to read all of the Bible. Not just the parts you like.

2nd Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"

So we have now established you are a liar...

              God hates liars:

Proverbs 6:16-19 "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."

Let me repeat. It's called the Bible.

                Friend,

How is Christianity divided? There is TRUE Christianity that follows the full and complete teaching of Christ and some cults worshiping some made up magic man. Do you seriously think the Catholics or the Mormons are Christians in any meaningful way?

Tell me about the speaking in TONGUES.

How does the Bible describe it? In detail.

Is it: A man speaking, as though he speaks in his own language, but heard by others speaking in their own known languages?

Or is it: A man spouting gibberish that he doesn't understand, which nobody else can understand because it's not a language, but one person decides that he understands it and "translates"?
                  Bible boring? Nonsense!

It doesn't make any sense to me. My sisters and I pretended to be from heathen lands when we were children and made up gibberish sounding "language" for fun. Pentecostals would have me think I was praising God while pretending to be some gypsy serving tea to our teddy bears?
