I do not know, this story sounds awfully suspicious.

A guy knocks out another guy and drags a person screaming out of a store.
I bet what really happened is the girl was in the butchers case, a fellow paid his 50 shekels, her brother took the money and gave it to a catlick Church. When confronted by the parents, they concocted the wild story about rape. It happens all the time.

Why did your cousin beat him up? Did he refuse to marry your slutty cousin as the bible demands?

      Deuteronomy 22:28-29 (King James Version)

      28If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
29Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

Woman have a thousand ways to tempt men. Obviously she was flirting with the man and your male cousin was too stupid to see it.

Well, he was black, so um there is no way they would let her marry him. There are worse fates. And they were outside, and no, no one cares about people screaming anymore these days. *sigh* what is the world coming to.

Well, he's only 17 and kinda scrawny. Not queer at all, just tiny. Honestly, she probably should have picked someone better to go at with, but her parents wanted her to.

There is always the chance she made it up, but I doubt it. She wasn't flirting, they didn't even see him come up behind them.

For now, they are just keeping her at home, and praying!
Matt. 6:5 "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."

So, what about the small child or young girl who is raped in her own bed in the middle of the night? Or what about the 6 week old infant who was KILLED by her rapist and thrown away?

Where is the man's fault in this??? Where is the punishment for HIS sins? Is he not to blame AT ALL for his OWN DECISIONS?? Have each of you raped a woman because of the way she was dressed or did you listen to your CONSCIENCE and the WORD OF GOD and behave? Have you raped your own WIFE because she woke up in her pjs, or you got a glance of her in the shower?? How about family outings to the beach? The mother who wears a one piece bathing suit with her children, should she get raped too?

This is the MOST DISGUSTING THING I HAVE EVER READ. I am sorry to say that you peole are part of the CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY!

Of course he's punished! Didn't you read Brother Godfly's post?

See? He's stuck with her FOREVER! Now that's a punishment that never ends.

You're just bitter because you can't get a man drunk enough to rape you.

The Bible is very clear on this. Are you suggesting we don't follow the word of God when he has specifically directed us? We are part of the True Christian™ community, and we take what the Bible says seriously. If you think you can pick an choose which parts of the Bible you wish to follow then you are not really a Christian. You need to think long and hard about where you want to spend your afterlife.

If it's the fault of the girl, when she gets raped... Explain why women wearing Christian approved clothing are sometimes raped as well?

Because they were still out of the kitchen and not under the guidance of their father or husband.

Christian approved clothing is just a helpful tool to avoid rape, if the girl is a harlot she is still a harlot. You can put a pig in a dress and call it Aunt Suzie, but it's still just a pig.

Let us correct your statement friend "why do women claiming to wear Christian approved clothing sometimes get raped".

The answer is easy. Those women aren't TRUE Christians(tm) and therefor deserve the abuse they got.

                      I hope this helps friend.

So I think I get what most of you are saying about the pamplet. Tell young girls, (or older girls) to not dress and behave in ways that intice or tease men. Basically kind of like saying, "Be carefull, and don't do something stupid." Is that about right?

Well if that's the message, then please understand there are betterways of saying that. No matter what, rape is a cruel and horrible thing, and no one deserves it based on any reason. Saying "it's your fault you were raped," is so awful. There's no reason to say such things or thing in that way.

Last I checked Ezekiel, I am a Christian. Whether you like that or not, that is what I am. I've stayed here as long as I have, because it troubles me that a community of my brothers and sisters could be as nasty as you've shown yourselves. As a christian I'm saying what I say. If my opinions don't matter, because for whatever cause you'll not count be as loving and trusting God, then at least I keep my pie hole open hoping between one Christian to another, I can learn from you and if there's anything you can learn from me you can.

Well when you hear Liebrals say stupid stuff like "I should be able to walk down a dark alley naked and not get raped", you sort of have to come up with something just as shocking.

How much would the number of rapes go down if women thought twice about what they were wearing and what situations they put themselves into?

Matchbox, perhaps you're forgetting that, in spite of its inspired genius, the "Women and Girls pamphlet" was not produced by Landover Baptist Church.
