I've noticed that there is a wide variety of Christian Literature stores in the Greater Freehold area, and as a service to our congregation, I'm listing the ones I know. Feel free to add your own comments and discuss these (mostly) Godly shops. I might have missed one or two, so if you know of any that I forgot, I'd encourage you to add them.

Perhaps you missed it because it doesn't have Bible in its name, but I love shopping at King James World. The history of this fine store is fascinating. The original owner, James Miller Sr., decided on the location purely because of its original address, 1611 Red Sea Boulevard, and in 1954, he opened his doors to much success.
Then in 1957, he went to the Landover pastors and deacons with a proposed name change to the street. With the Communist threat looming over Godly America, "Red Sea" seemed horribly inappropriate for a place name in Freehold. Throw in how important the Red Sea is to joos thanks to Moses and how French "boulevard" is, he was able to convince them in under 10 minutes that a name change would be very appropriate. And thats how Red Sea Boulevard became King James Avenue, and how King James World came to be located at 1611 King James Avenue.
Jesus has obviously smiled on this, as the store is even more successful today under the stewardship of Mr. Miller's son, James Miller Jr. Praise!

King James World is a godly place by my personal favorite is Ted's Bible, Gun and Range out on State Route 10. It is certainly nice to go out for some target practice while some is reading Holy Scripture.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

I forgot Ted's Bible, Gun and Range because I think of it more as a shooting range than a bible store. But he does have some good quality bibles as well. Thanks for the addition!

Also, The Bible Hut on Indian Massacre Road has a very good selection.

They do, but I'm not pleased with their customer service. The last time I went there, the sales clerk didn't even ask my about my relationship with Jesus! I know it's easy to get slack on this in Freehold, but if you don't know someone personally and are confident in their Saved status, letting an opportunity to witness slip by is just a horrible lack of care for your customer. Don't just sell a Bible, sell God!
What really surprised me about it was that you'd think they'd be trying harder with Margaret's Used Bibles just across the street.

THIS JUST IN! Brothers and sisters in Christ, we have a crisis on our hands!! Apparently porno is infesting our Christian bookstores, even as we speak!!

            Porn flowing into Christian bookstores
Hundreds dealing with company that promotes XXX-rated items

An online company providing books to hundreds of Christian bookstores throughout Canada and the United States promotes XXX-rated materials, occult titles, manuals on homosexuality and lesbianism and satanism, according to a center that monitors the industry.

As WND has reported, a company called BookManager serves a St. Catherine's, Ont., Christian bookstore whose owner recently discovered books on occultism, pornography and the like could be located through its website.

Now Bud Press, who runs Christian Research Service, has told WND that the company actually serves hundreds of Christian bookstores, whose owners now are facing the problem of what to do.

"One manager planned to contact BookManager and request the removal of the non-Christian and pornography materials," Press said. "But with a 'title link' of 'over 4,000,000' books, the chances of that happening are slim to none."

"Also lurking among BookManager's titles are page-after-page of books that promote: cultic theology, occultism, homosexuality, lesbianism, pro-gay, transsexualism, prostitution, New Age, satanism, profanity, XXX-rated materials, Word-Faith, and

"_Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers by David L. Riegel (published by SafeHaven Foundation)

"_Harmful to Minors: The Perils of Protecting Children from Sex by Judith Levine (published by Thunder's Mouth)

"_Varieties of Man/Boy Love by M. Pascal (published by the North American Man/Boy Love Association)

"_Witchhunt Foiled: The FBI vs NAMBLA (published by the North American Man/Boy Love Association)," Press documented.
Brothers and sister, I urge you all to inspect each of the Christian Bookstores listed above, plus any others you may encounter, for any sign of the vile pornogrippic filth being secretly slipped onto the shelves next to God's Holy Word. And whatever you do, DON'T purchase or examine any porn you might find. Contact a Pastor immediately!

Re: Local Christian Literature Shops Provide Variety

I can't help but wonder how many of the "Christian" bookstores that deal with this child porn company are actually run by Catholics...
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Don't forget to stop by Gary and my very own Christian™ bookstore, Biblepalooza, located at 122 Killen Street, Freehold. We just had our grand opening three weeks ago, and we love meeting new customers!

And get ready for this... on Saturday, June 2, 2007, Brother Harry Hardwick will be at our store IN PERSON to sign copies of his new book, Strong Meat Belongeth: Why Vegans And Vegetarians Can't Go To Heaven. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet one of the preeminent Bible Scholars™ of our time (or any time!), and to receive a signed edition of "possibly the most [important] work of non-fiction in the past 396 years!"*

                Hebrews 5:13-14
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

We ran the same store when we lived in Jew Jersey, but the secular town council brutally persecuted us to the point where we had to close down... something about the great big Leviticus 20:13/Matthew Shepard morgue photo banner that adorned our front window must have rubbed them the wrong way. That's the Garden State for you.

Luckily, the people of Freehold have been ever so kind to us since we opened up shop here. Local officials even offered to make an extra-large version of the Leviticus banner to adorn our new location... FREE! Talk about Good Samaritans!

Sister Virginia, why didn't you tell me you were opening your own store?!? You know, my daily use KJV1611 is starting to get a little loose in the spine. It seems to have started when I had to strongly rebuke the Jehovah's Witless who got past security the other day. I do believe I will drop by tomorrow to replace it.

My apologies, Sister! To tell you the truth, we've been working out a few kinks (for example, an NIV somehow slipped into our stock! ) and we didn't want any True Christians to see the store in such shoddy shape. But we're now good to go! While you're at it, you can pick up advance tickets for Brother Harry's signing for only $499.98 each as long as you provide proof of Salvation! They'll be $999.98 at the door, so this is a truly INCREDIBLE deal.

Actually, I may or may not have information on how to get tickets for only $299.98 each... come see me in the back of the store, and come alone.
