Looks like we have to add a new group to Christ's enemies list; The NHL. They just attacked Jesus and American values by forcing Brother Rush Limbuagh to withdraw his name from a bid for ownership of the St Louis Rams.

Rush Limbaugh is expected to be dropped from a group bidding to buy the St. Louis Rams, according to three NFL sources.

Dave Checketts, chairman of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues and the point man in the Limbaugh group attempting to buy the Rams, realizes he must remove the controversial conservative radio host from his potential role as a minority member in the group in order to get approval from other NFL owners, the sources said.

Three-quarters of the league’s 32 owners would have to approve any sale to Limbaugh and his group. Earlier this week, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay predicted that Limbaugh’s potential bid would be met by significant opposition. Several players have also voiced their displeasure with Limbaugh’s potential ownership position, and NFL Players Association head DeMaurice Smith, who is black, urged players to speak out against Limbaugh’s bid.

If there is any proof of the toxic effect of the Obama coo-Presidency it is what has happened to the NHL; unionized players, prooft sharing, cooperative ownership and market regulation. The NHL is nothing more than a slice of Sweden in the United States right now complete with standard Swedish anti-white racism.

All this happened in only 9 months, what will the next 3 years bring. Impeach Obama now.

This is truly some anti-Christian persecution. I think the owners did not want Brother Rush to create a Super Bowl-winning team with the Rams. Remember the last time the Rams were great? That's when they had Bible-believing Christian Kurt Warner as QB. Even though I'm a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, I know Jesus was guiding the Rams that year.

I took a little time off from following the proper football news (you folks call it soccer) to see what this was about and was surprised to learn that you had declared Jihad on the National Hockey League.

Hockey is a manly and dangerous sport played by well mannered Canadians as well as some Europeans and even a few Americans... it has nothing to do with the National Football League which is filled folks who went to college but, for the most part, cannot form a coherent sentence or go two weeks without being arrested for dog-fighting, drunk driving, assault or illegal weapons possession.

Okay... upon reading that last sentence back you might have a point about the NFL especially upon learning that one of their biggest stars turned TV announcer, Steve Young, is a Latter-Day Saint (not married btw... uh-huh) and direct relative of Brigham Young who is the father of modern American polygamy.

Then I started reading the names of the plays and the teams....


So when the Rams and the Packers trade tight ends what does it really mean? Scoring in the red zone sounds bad too... knocking it through the uprights? What about getting sacked by three different men in one series... ball control... the team's long snapper? The list goes on and on.

Perhaps American football is the sport with the biggest homosexual agenda on earth and you are wise to direct folks away from it.

Also, there is nothing homosexual about football. I myself was a star quarterback in high school and held records which lasted over 30 years. I could've gone to USC for a football scholarship (and had a likely NFL career), but I chose to go into the ministry instead. I've been blessed with more spiritual and financial rewards than I would've got if I was drafted in the NFL.

There's nothing homosexual about pressing close to a man in front of you bent over, having him reach around and give you the ball, and going deep to peg your wide receiver. Then a large man penetrates your tight defense, tackles you to the ground and is on top of you. It's a macho, heterosexual sport. You'd be a fool to think otherwise.

Brother Rush is not taking this by laying down and biting the pillow. No sire, not at all.

Earlier Wednesday, on his syndicated radio show, Limbaugh was defiant, holding on to hope that he still could be part of the ownership group that buys the Rams.

“I’m not even thinking of exiting,” Limbaugh said on his program, according to a transcript provided to ESPN. “I’m not even thinking of caving. I am not a caver. None of us are. We have been betrayed by too many who have caved. Pioneers take the arrows. We are pioneers. It’s a sad thing but our country over 200 years old now needs pioneers all over again, but we do.”

Time for the NHL to stand by for action for denying Rush his football team. We are talking lawsuit right here friends. Rush is fighting back just like our pioneer friends did when the American Indians denied their land to our forefathers.

My goodness, I don't think I've seen such a rousing speech since the last time I watched BraveHeart! He is absolutely right. For so long we've all heard the term "The American Dream". It was what made America greater than any other nation on earth. We were proud of the fact that one could work himself up from absolutely nothing to being cock of the walk, for lack of a better term. Look at all the great Americans who worked themselves up from abject poverty to a state of wealth: George Washington, the Adams family, Ben Franklin and George W. Bush. Life presented them with two options: live and die in the gutter in which you were born, or stand up, work hard and become great. All of these men did just that. And that was what made America the only great superpower.

And now the NFL ruined it. With one swift gesture, the NFL stood up to the good old US of A and told its citizens: we're not interested. If a man like Rush, who has worked his way from the poverty line by hard work, honest dealings and free speech, is told by America to "shove" his hopes and dreams, are we even worthy to call ourselves "Americans" anymore?

This man has scrimped and saved for years now to try to purchase a team, just like you and I did as a little kid to save for a candy bar. And now, when he has finally earned enough to be able to make his purchase, he is being turned away like a black man applying to Yale? It's an insult to everything our forefathers and veterans fought for.
