  • A Music Video

Earlier this month, I posted a video link to my boy's choir singing a wonderful little hymn called "Jesus Hates Them". I received wonderful feedback from the True Christians™ who reviewed it. In that original thread, I asked for suggestions for more hymns for the boy's choir to sing. Brother William Jennings Bryan suggested the classic All Things Bright And Beautiful.

Last week, after he made the suggestion, we got to work. We rewrote the hymn to be a bit more suitable, calling the new version Only Saved And Beautiful.

Some of the older boys in the choir have a band that plays "Youth Outreach" music. Now, I'm not too sure about the music as it all sounds like typical noisy kid stuff to me, but the message is a wonderful and soothing one, and they sure poured their little boy-sized hearts into it! Praise God!

As suggested by Brother W. J. Bryan, here's
"Only Saved And Beautiful" , the music video!

Please let us know what you think and keep those suggestions coming!

    Wonderful, Brother.
I see my suggestion to smoke an extra 40 a day has worked wonders on his voice

Maybe one day you can do my favorite "Battle Hymn of the Republic".
Oh my! I can feel something stirring just thinking about that song.

        Re: A Music Video

I heard a wonderful hymn the other night when I was in the sauna at the men's club..... I don't know the name of the hymn, but it was a beautiful song from a worshipper celebrating his faith and God's love. It kept repeating, "You" (I assume the "You" in this case is God) "Make Me Feel Mighty Real." It was very beautiful, and caused me to drop to my knees right there in the steam room. If anyone can find out the title of this beautiful hymn, I would appreciate it.

I'm deeply honored for the dedication in your new arrangement and video Minister Lester.

I note the abandonment of traditional harmonies and the addition of diminished triads in an innovative way to reach our present generation of hell bound youth and drive home the tough love of God and His message of Salvation. While historically the cathylicks have banned the use of the diminished triad as being Satanic, there is no reason that we should accept their papal edicts as valid, or in the present context if it achieves its goal.

I am still at a loss to explain why the tradition of inter-modulation distortion is still being used in the present genre of metal. It was produced in my early days by a device known as a "fuzz box", and elicited the wide range of partials that could only be truly appreciated while under the influence of a drug known as "acid" (hence the name of the genre was known as "acid rock"). This was all before I found the saving blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. The original "acid" formula was long ago destroyed by Godly President Nixon in his Holy War on drugs, and the present generation has no access to the experience.
          Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
          ...and get off my lawn

            Re: A Music Video

While researching our next music video, the boys in the choir stumbled across this patriotic masterpiece. I was so touching, it brought me to my knees in front of all the boys right then and there. I encourage you to share this message of fellowship and love with anyone you suspect hates Jesus or firefighters (or both).
