Should I wash my hands after having a crap?

Now I know this might sound a rather personal question but I just wondered were you stand on this issue. Since being saved I have dismissed all this talk of bacteria I think it's just nonsense. I have searched through the KJV1611 and the word 'bacteria' is never mentioned once.

After using the toilet facilities (since being saved) I have never washed my hands. I have spent many years working in a restaurant preparing food, this included kneading pizza dough, a process which cleaned my hands anyway.

My thoughts on this are based on the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mark 7:1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.
2And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
3For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
4And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
5Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
6He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
10For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
11But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
    12And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
13Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
14And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:
15There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
16If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

Matthew 15:17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
18But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

If Jesus says that food can be handled with dirty hands then that's good enough for me but I am interested in other peoples thoughts on this.

Unfortunately I no longer work at the pizza restaurant. It was closed down.

Interesting question. I never touch my neither regions anyway, so I think my hands are clean. I always thought that wiping your backparts was a gateway sin.

Was the pizza joint called Nehemiah BTW?

    Nehemiah 2:13
And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire.
    Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

      Hi Jack
I get my wife to wipe my Satan-hole so that my hands don't become soiled.

By the way if we ever meet shall we dispense with the welcoming handshake?

Re: Should I wash my hands after having a crap?

I wash my hands before I 'do my business'. When traveling across country in my truck, I do a lot of 'laying of the hands' and some of the men I touch are not that clean. I do not want any of the demons that may of gotten on my fingers doing Gods Work to find thier way in to my rectum. After all, it is just a thin sheet of paper between True Salvation(r) and an eternity of torment.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I hear you Brother. But after a few accidents where the thin sheets (I always doubled them up) gave way and caused my finger to touch my unholy part, I stopped wiping it altogether. I hope that as per Matthew 15:20 that is OK?

Wiping is really only needed when there is not a clean break. But I know you are right when using the Bible. You cannot go wrong using Matthew on your rectum.

That's something you would have to check with our wives.

Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
