    But it's what the Bible SAYS (every version says that, not just the KJV). Do you really think the Word of God is disgusting?

    Prove any of it wrong, using Scripture.

    Bingo.

    There is a reason God has a woman dress down as much as possible. If there is a man that wants to do unclean things, he does not look for the one most conservatively dressed. O am just sayin'

    So true.

    The Word also tells us that if a virgin is taken, the man has to pay her father and marry the scantly dressed harpy and he can never divorce her. I think we all know who the victim here is.

    That´s very serious, I doubt any man would rape a well dressed girl, the least she can do is to marry him!

    but please tell me what happens if the rapist refuses to marry his victim? other then just burning in hell, of course.

    I am strongly considering sending my oldest daughter to J .C. (great initials, don't you think) Penny to buy some spandex and send her to NYC for the summer.
    You see, she is nearly 20 and still sponging from me. I will admit, most of the house guests we have had here on the Hutchins Plantation have told me she has been attentive to their needs and I appreciate that but gosh darn it, she needs a husband and start making soldiers for Jesus.
    I was thinking about getting her an apartment on 10th near the Lincoln tunnel. I am sure a girl of her qualifications will find a man the first night.

    He must marry the virgin and stay with her,

    Deuteronomy 22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
    29Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

    The situation is different if the the girl was engaged to be married and is raped in the city. They both have to be killed in that situation. The man for taking another man's property and the woman for not cying out loud enough so clearly a slut.

    Deuteronomy 22:23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;
    24Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

    Anyway, he hypothetically answered you back a ways. You rape our daughter, you don't live to see the next day.

    What would your answers be given the same hypothetical question?

    It would be a very simple answer for me, i would immediately disregard whatever any holy book teaches and base my actions on my own morals and values. I would certainly not let a man who raped my daughter marry her.

    But for those that claim to be "true christians" on these forums, how do you go against your own thoughts and feelings? What do you do in such a conflict between what the Bible says, what your faith is apparently telling you to do and what your conscience is telling you?
    No, I'm not going to write it out for you. You have the Biblical text.

    You may want to look beside my name, I'm another one of those Evil True Christians(TM) No we do not disregard anything the Bible says because we don't like it. Doing that is a one way ticket to hell.

    But if that's where you want to spend eternity, go right ahead

    I want you to actually type it, to actually admit that if you, hypothetically speaking, had a daughter, and she, hypothetically speaking, was raped by me...Would you allow her to marry me if i paid you 50 shekels of silver worth? Remember this is a hypothetical question. If you are unsure of what the word means, by all means.. LOOK IT UP!
    No
