You don't get it, a good Christian woman is under the protection of God and of her father, brothers and church society.

And if the rape was planned out, or the attacker/rapist knew how to disarm or attack an armed person i doubt an inexperienced woman simply in possession of a fire arms would be able to do anything about it.

Well IF I had a daughter, 1. she would not be inexperienced with firearms 2. She would almost always have a protection dog with her 3. She would not put herself into situations where you could get at her. Do you really think we allow our women to go out alone? To be unescorted on dates? No.

The law is quite clear, if you rape the woman in the city and she cries out, I have the Biblical and secular law on my side to kill you.

Ok, so hypothetically speaking if someone(say myself) were to rape your own daughter, i presume you would let me marry her after i pay you 50 shekkels of silver or the equivelant in some form of payment? After all she would be just be damaged goods and it would simply be unfair to give her off to someone else.
