Because the Bible is timeless and eternal so we don't need to read in Greek.

Because Jesus said so when He had the KJV1611 comittee translate the Bible.

Are you sure???? And how you now that he had the KJV1611 comittee and not any other committee in the world ,e.g. Italian, to translate it?

Translating a book has a cost. A cost of loosing much of it's meaning.Even the best translator(s) can't accurataly translate a book. The phrase "it's a piece of cake" has a meaning in your language but not in mine.Likewise i don't expect that you would understand the meaning of "he saw Jesus soldier"(it's a part of a slang,it's not used much or oficially so don't offend), wouldn't you? There are many phrases that their meaning can be translated to an other language, but many others cant't.

There are also words that don't exist in other languages.
You have witcher, mage, spellcaster etc. We have only one word for those- as i can remember right now. So, there is a loss of meaning by translating these words. And vice versa for our language.

And last, many words have been created over the years, old ones have dissapeared or even changed meaning. What in 1611 meant friend now may mean enemy(that's an extreme example of course)
Lord never changes, but we do.
And maybe we can't interpet the message of God corectly nowadays. It's not God's "fault", it's our "fault"

Why would God translate His word to His Beloved Chosen Elect(r) into Italian? We Americans speak English, not Italian. That is why Jesus wrote the Bible in English.

Why would God translate His word to His Beloved Chosen Elect® into Italian? We Americans speak English, not Italian. That is why Jesus wrote the Bible in English.

Jesus would have spoken Aramaic and/or Hebrew, not Elizabethan English. He was, after all. a Palestinian Jew.

And I don't understand this. If God choosed a country which I don't believe(we have a saying in my country, that all men -and women- are all equal under the Lord,which I don't know if you are aware of that) and he had chosen USA, then why did Jesus Christ appeard in Israel and not in America in the first place??? Care to post a verse from the Bible that says something like :"I choose thee,Americans, to be the favorite nation of the Lord", or anything like that for any nation?
