Are you another of those lie-berals who read only those parts of Scripture that suit you? Friend, we read and follow the entire King James Bible, including the following verses:

Job 28:28: And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom; and to depart from evil [is] understanding.

Psalm 111:10: The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

Proverbs 1:7: The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 9:10: The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.

Proverbs 15:33: The fear of the LORD [is] the instruction of wisdom; and before honour [is] humility.

        Isaiah 11:2: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Isaiah 33:6: And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, [and] strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD [is] his treasure.

Sister, weren't you one of those Romanist penguin-women before? If so, I praise Jesus that He has delivered you from your previous life and enabled you to see through the lies of liberal "Christianity."
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

                    Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
                    Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

                    Amen.

The power of God's word. I read Pastor Zeke's sermon to my grandchildren last night as a bedtime story. I could hear them awake half the night praying.

Praise the Holy Word of God and Jesus ,Amen!
                      Nahum 1:2

God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

                        Bring the lesson home!

As I was reading this thread, the Lord shared with me a small revelation as to how He might be served even better.

Who has seen a diaroma? For those who have not, they are little physical displays depicting events or concepts using models, figurines etc.

My own experience with them came during numerous trips to Gettysburg, Pa. This is where the offensive Mr. Lincoln read out his mealy-mouthed little "proclamation" that attempted to negate God's law on the issue of slavery.

Traipsing endlessly from one tourist trap to another, I saw the battle tale told with beautifully rendered little minature landscapes that were replete with details of topography but lacking in the precise depiction of the many bloody corpses. Still, seeing the same battle displayed over and over again with 1/2" figures, 1" figures, 2" figures, 4" figures and 6" figures certainly drove home its intended educational effect. I never need to return to Gettysburg ever again, thanks to the thorough presentation of the material in 3-D minaturized glory.

So, here is what the Lord shared with me.

Children sometimes have trouble grasping difficult concepts through words alone. Landover Baptist needs to sponsor a diaroma project.

The children themselves could be put to work, using their tiny little fingers for hours on end to paint clearly detailed figures depicting the slaying of the 3,000 at God's Holy command. By applying the blood to the slain sinners themselves, the children will be given a tactile experience to reinforce the telling of what might seem an unimaginable tale of slaughter.

You see that the benefits are many fold. The children's mallible little minds, innocent little eyes, and nimble little fingers would be occupied almost endlessly as they are directed to get in and there and paint the details of every gut spilling, heart-piercing, head-lopped-off wound. With the fingers thus occupied, they would not have the opportunity to put their grubby little fingers up their snotty little noses or do other filthy things.

The hands on experience with the red paint and the after effects of seeing such Godly inspired carnage laid out in precise detail will fill the children with pride at their own assistance in rendering God's Word to those who cannot take the time to read the actual verses. They will more clearly be able internalize the anguish felt by those slain and the courage of those who took up the sword on the Lord's behalf.

Once the diaroma is set up, the church could capitalize on the much needed morality tale by selling tickets to visit the exhibt. If it proves profitable, the children can be further employed during their non-school, non-Bible reading hours to paint more and more blood-soaked figures as the demand increases. Think of it ! They will learn as they work. God's provision for them and the need for obediance at all costs will be written into their hearts with every stroke of possibly lead-based paint.

If this idea does prove profitable in some small way to LBC, God has informed me that I will be awarded 25% off the gross sales, which really only amounts to 15 %, as I will, of course, be tithing back to the church.

                        Inspiredly Yours,

                        Handmaiden
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.
