Re: C.H. Spurgeon on Atheism
Infact, i have.
and i released that all the part aobut the wrath of god, comes form the old testament, which Jesus wanted people to stop living by. This lead to the new testament, and a lot of different books where held out.
Including The Book of Judas, which says that Jesus asked Judas to betray him, so his so called "mission" could be carried out.
and all the part about armageddon and the rapture in the book of revelation by John is just nonesense. If Jesus really came to save us, why should we then preapare for something that doesn't come?
Truth is, that the John who wrote the Book of Revelations, was not the same John who followed Jesus.
and you know what? I don't even care if there is a heaven or hell, its all just a stupid fairy tale to scare kids, to belive something thats not real.
And let me quote:
The whole thing is so patently infantile, so foreign to reality, that to anyone with a friendly attitude to humanity it is painful to think that the great majority of mortals will never be able to rise above this view of life.
