God could have approached free will differently, but didn't.

Every now and then an unsaved ratbag will post something that almost breaks my heart -- for they have a basic understanding of the nature of God, but still they refuse to accept Jesus.

From a recently banished thread (which was trolled out of existence):

Well, I believe the LORD could have done better than creating drones; as God can do anything, He could have given us free will and the ability to always make the right decision, to never sin -- all without violating that free will -- and therefore never be at risk of going to Hell. Nothing is impossible for God. But He chose to damn some of us, save the rest of us (The Elect©), and He chose to only be appeased by the blood sacrifice of His Son. After all, He could have forgiven humanity without requiring sacrifice, but He chose otherwise.

He made His choices for reasons unfathomable to us, yet in Him we must trust.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7)

To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
