Re: God HATES Rational Thinking!
When the time of judgement comes, you hatemongering, warped minded, racist, bigoted, evil, disgustingly programmed parasitical beings of piety will burn in the hell of your own creation. I smile as i read that "filthy mexicans" enjoy the benefits of your "promised land", i rejoice, as within your ranks the confusion between truth and archaic dogmatic beliefs rapes every grain of true faith that ever existed in your church.
Oh and by the way, i have notified many hate-crime and racism agencies in your country and my own to rectify this seething cesspool of evil thoughts and words. Enjoy explaining your neo-terrorist dogmas to them you vile cowards.
oh, and before you delete this, can you see i am equally in violation of the rules as many of your "pastors"? (inciting hatred)

It has long been my belief that all that blubber chewing damages the brain. So retardation is considered the norm up there in Finland.Originally posted by Heathen_Basher View PostOh yes, that explains it!

You have to understand that he is Finn. He has no idea of the dualistic meaning of the word Logic as formal system to study new things and the common language form that has just the meaning of using information to decide next action.Originally posted by Heathen_Basher View PostWow, you really are retarded.
Same thing with rational thinking. The way we are now referring to it is the "scientific thinking". The problem with the scientific thinking is the fact that it has defined so called Laws of nature that describe our surrounding environment and phenomenons - which in many cases gives us quite precise predictions - but fails in deeper observation just because they fail to take in count the All Mighty God and His power over everything. So we now have things like theory of gravity that in this moment gives us good approximation of speed of atheist hitting the ground after jumping from building. Problem is that if God decides, He can change the rules in any moment, like he has done with rules how long people live. Scientists say that you cannot change something like gravity without everything else failing but they lack the understanding of God. He can do ANYTHING.
That is why rational thinking fails. We try to rationalize things using these rules that actually don't apply. Same with the "logic". It is not logical to someone turn to pillar of salt. Our "scientists" say that it is not rational. But hey, tell that to Lot's wife

Wow, you really can't make grown up arguments, can you?Originally posted by Heathen_Basher View PostWow, you really are retarded.
How can I be the retarded one when you say that logic is evil and want to stop using it? Retarded = lover IQ = not as good ability to use logic. If you want to stop using logic, you are the definition of retarded. Or that’s not really true, the retards would be considerably smarter than you since you would have to live as a plant or a one celled organism.

Wow, you really are retarded.Originally posted by Finland FTW View PostIf reading didn’t require logic then we would instantly know how to read and the only thing we would have to do is to learn the meaning of the words. Is this how it is in real life? No. No one just knows how to read or how to ride a bike, we all have to learn how to do so.
When you teach someone how to read, what do you start with? The alphabet and how every letter is pronounced. Then the person slowly read words by saying how every letter is pronounced and then interpret it to which word it is. and THEN give the word a meaning.
But when you have practised this for a while it goes faster and you don't really think about what you are doing, same thing with riding a bike and everything else. When you practise something, you become better at it.
And by the way, you're using lodgic to come up with your arguments

I suggest you think of riding a bicycle - theoretically this requires logic - in practice, you do it unconsciously.

Kind of puts it all in perspective doesn't it? When will God come and purify his flawed creation which he set up?Originally posted by Ezekiel Bathfire View PostYour arguments are fine, as long as you accept that reading requires logic - I don't think it does - all it is, is learning words.

Likewise living a Godly Life requires no logic. To apply logic will result in questioning God. "Why does he accept human sacrifice? Why does he advise on cannibalism? Why did he wipe the Midianites off the face of the Earth? Why was it necessary to sacrifice His Own Son? Why did God take 6 days for Creation when He could have done it in one?
These thoughts are the antithesis of Faith. Faith is beautiful, it actually demands that you do not have to work your mind to distraction.
The alternative is as that stinking Frog atheist, Jean Paul Sartre, described in "Nausea" or "Being and Nothingness" - desolate, depressing scribblings of Satan.

Re: God HATES Rational Thinking!
Hm... I have not thought about it that way. I guess that depends on how you define "resolve problems".
And as I said before you can't read the KJV1611 without using logic and rational thinking.
(But thanks for a real answer

. If you want to worship God you must know what he says, and to know that you have to read. Reading is a very logical thing. You first have to see the symbols, then you give them a sound and then you have to interpret that sound to a word that you then give a meaning. Then all that’s left is to put the words together and form a sentence.
Reading the bible = using logic and rational thinking = God hates you = you'll go to hell

Re: God HATES Rational Thinking!
If I may change any offense you may have received by being told the truth and thus being shown to be Godless: The entire point of thinking is to resolve problems. To resolve problems you draw upon the words of the Wise. Who is wiser than God? "No man".
Therefore if you simply refuse to use the cheap method of "looking it up on Wickedpedia" but choose to look it up in KJV1611m you will find your thinking has been done for you.
After all, there is no point re-inventing the wheel, is there?

Yeah... I don't really see how this proves me wrong either. Thanks for the concern, but I don't need itOriginally posted by MisterM View PostI don't think so. We have seen your type before. You come here so sure to be right and after every post you feel more frustrated when you realize that we are much more confident and your weak arguments mean nothing to us.
More you post, more insecure you are. You start to wonder that maybe you are wrong and you start to fear God. But satan is still too strong and makes you too proud to apologize. So you become more rude and you laugh outside but cry inside. After few more posts, you just stop posting and never visit us again. Then one day you die and burn in Hell.
Please, it does not have to be like that again. Accept Jesus in your life and follow the Bible to the letter and you will be saved. If not, then post a few times more and then leave us as all others have been before.
But on the bright side, we have gone from insults to personal attack, now we are on ten-year-old arguments. We're getting closer

(in this aspect anyway)
And what’s up with the five-year-old arguments today? You guys are usually a little better than this...
