Its not that simple. Not allowed to question his authority.

But it's ok to do it behind his back on the internet?

Silly, read the Bible! And it isn't questioning his authority if he's teaching you about God's word! And if you overstep your boundaries, he'll discipline you accordingly.
Though I wonder, Didn't your father teach you properly?
But he answered and said, it is not right to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs. (Matthew 15:26)

Oh..I didn't know and no he didn't. I've never had a spanking or been in trouble until I got married. This is new to me.

Okay, so we know that you know how to use the quote function.

So you didn't know the man before you married? Did your father?

Did you just fall into a marriage with some guy you met on the internet?

What are you doing to get into so much trouble?

So he won't answer your questions (because that would be allowing you to question his authority), but he'll allow others (complete strangers, at that) to do so (and somehow that's NOT questioning his authority)?

                Something's quite wrong here.

Yes I did. We worked together but he made me quit after marriage. I mess up, like not having dinner ready on time or going out too late and forgwtting to tell him, or not keeping the laundry done up and folded, spending too much time on the phone, not budgeting well enough.

So he gave you absolutely no warning what life would be like with him?

Is anyone else starting to read "sleeping with the enemy" in this?

True Christian(TM) men tend to be upfront about what they expect from their wives.

These are pretty basic things. You're 24 and you're incapable of running a house with no children? And why are you going out without telling him or yapping on the telephone.

Do you sit around the house watching "stories" or "Oprah" instead of doing this stuff?

I mean, I've got 5 kids, my guard dogs, hubbies field dogs, the dove business and I'm able to keep it together.

Yes he warned me. But I did not take him seriously. I've never been taught how to run a home.

I'm going to answer this over on your introduction thread since it really has nothing to do with you being his property.

Read the very first post in this thread instead of harassing a True Christian(tm) woman.

I read it now. Thank you. I think I am starting to understand more of why this is truth a llttle bit. I need to learn more. I'm on Genesis chapter 3 now.

                                Proverbs 31
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
Does that sound like a stupid idle woman to you?

As I said, I'm actually amazed any man would marry this one. She seems like she'd be much more of a burden than a help meet.

Genesis 2:18, 21-24 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.... And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
