Re: Do You Hate Your Mother As Much As Jesus Did?

My kind sir I wish to learn from you, yet it is hard to ignore the ingrained commandment that God has taught me:

"Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you."

You are wrong. Your mother was a whore. God hates the whore, as should you.

Re: Do You Hate Your Mother As Much As Jesus Did?

Please realize that I'm not trying to attack you personally, I'm just telling you that your message is wrong and you need to examine it. I know your a pastor and you may preach a lot of good stuff, but even a little bit of being incorrect is poisonous. 97% or so of rat poison is edible material that won't kill you, it's that dangerous 3% that can be deadly. I say this out of love myself.

In Matthew 7 Jesus says that not everyone who says Lord Lord will enter into heaven. In their times, they said things multiple times when the were emphasizing something, which is why he says so many times, you will know them by their fruit. Here even someone who says Lord, Lord, which he's emphasizing that this isn't just a lukewarm 'christian' will enter heaven. You can be a preacher who says Lord Lord but still not be right in interpretation and life style and therefore won't enter heaven. Please examine what I'm saying and listen to it.

If you choose not to listen then you will be one of those who cannot endure sound doctrine. You can make a lifestyle on doctrine that you interpret wrong and therefore it's not sound and you can endure it. Make sure your doctrine is sound, and endure it and preach it. If you continue in such preachings also, I have to question myself whether or not I'm casting the pearls before the swine in Matthew 7:6. God shows through Jesus his LOVE, and not hate, John 3:16, Romans 5:8 that's why the whole message of the bible is hate, the word appears 300 plus times compared to possibly 80 appearences of hate. Over the whole bible, God inspired the writers for Love. Please read and understand this.

Re: Do You Hate Your Mother As Much As Jesus Did?

You have the COMPLETE message wrong. Do you not read and understand the Bible, read Jesus's teachings.

Matthew 15:4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

Do you think that you are honoring your mother by telling us to send her a card on how much we loathe her?!

Your quote on Luke 14:26 is wrong, Jesus tells us that we have to take up our cross, and in doing so hate everything that is worldly and sinful if that be our parents, brethren, etc. It means that you should love Jesus and God more than these people. The message of this verse is put better in Matthew 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Your supposed to abstain from sin, and being unrighteous and sinful is iniquity, as quoted in psalm 5:5. Hate that people are being unrighteous.

Your own quotes on Proverbs 6 is completely mistaken. He's saying God hates the sin once again and what makes you commit the sin, Jesus said cut off your hand/gouge out your eye if it's a reason you commit sin. He isn't saying he hates the sinner. Plus at the end of Proverbs 6:19, he's speaking to you! With such teachings on hate and love, your preaching falsely.

Plus James 4 says God will take in sinners if they cleanse themselves, and that we are NOT to judge peoples salvation. It even says in James 3 don't bless God and curse others with the same mouth, as you were doing with your mothers day message.

As I said before read the scripture on Love before you preach a message of hate, John 3:16, Romans 5:8.

Read Lamentations 3, Hebrews 12 (especially),

Make sure you read all of these passages, please before you respond. Please!

While you're searching in vain, you might want to read THIS sermon of mine on the subject of judging others.

Re: Do You Hate Your Mother As Much As Jesus Did?

Pastor Ezekiel, how can you say this message with such false teachings?! Sanctified Soldier is right, God does NOT hate the sinner. He hates sin, and must send people to Hell because of their sin and unrighteousness.
    How do I know?

"God commandeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

God had his own Son bear the weight of our sinful world on his back in the form of a crucifixion death. He loved us so much and wanted us to be free from sin so much that it pleased Yahweh to crush Jesus because he had all our sin. We were so depraved that he crushed his own son out of love for us.

Love is the most prominent message of the Bible, it gives it it's unifying theme all throughout. God is Love, and for you to say different is false teachings. I am examining your teachings in light of the scripture, because we do have the right to judge in the fact of telling whether someone is showing the signs of a TRUE christian walk, Matthew 7 has good teachings on this. If you do not get your message straight, you will be damned yourself. God has greater punishment for false teachers. Your own message here has put forth that someone called their parents, cut them down and reduced them to tears, been called a 'bastard' and still convinced them they were being glorified for it? NO, a thousand times NO! Go back and focus on the teachings of Jesus and Paul the tentmaker. They have the most wisdom on Love and the greatest teachings on how we as Christians should show God's Love.

As for Sanctified Soldier, I agree we do not judge someones salvation, just how they show signs of their walk, for if they are saved, they will show. "You will know them by their fruit."

    Sanctifiedsoldier,

You must realize that the reason good Pastor Zeke has that as his signature is because it is a warning to all about what sins lead to Hell. Pastor Zeke loves his congregation and he loves you enough to steer you clear of eternal damnation. He does not post that out of mere spite, but out of the hope that sinners like you will wake up and realize what you are doing accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

Christians are free to judge. The Bible says so in many places...

Leviticus 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Psalm 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

Proverbs 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

If you are going to get caught up on grammar, you are missing the point. However, this is your forum, so I will be more careful out of respect.

If you do not agree with me say so, but not allowing discussion makes this less of a forum and more of a cult.

2 Corinthians 3:5: "Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God."

I'm assuming that is what you mean by worthwhile because my righteousness is that of a filthy rag. Isaiah 64:6

i look at my thoughts, my deeds, and i am glad that His grace is sufficient no matter what i have done.

i fall under the category of more of the things on your list, but His love covers a multitude of sins.

by the way, i would never discredit something because it is old testament, i agree with you that it is totally valid.

and im not saying He wont damn people to hell because He will, i am just saying it is not His will that any perish, God is love. He came to save the world first, it is not our job to judge it
    God doesn't love everybody:

    Proverbs 6
[16] These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
[17] A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
[18] An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
[19] A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
And don't give me any "He hates the sin, not the sinner" crap...

    Matthew 13
    [38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
[39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
[40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
    [41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
[42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Please read the WHOLE Bible before it's too late.

Before you complain about the the fact that the verses I cited were from the Old Testament, as if that somehow makes them worthless, consider this:

In the Old Testament, it says that God hates "all workers of iniquity" (Ps 5:5).

In the New Testament, what does Jesus say that he is going to do to these workers of iniquity? Is he going to love them? Is he going to be their pal, and tell them that it's ok to be themselves? Let's see...

I pray that you have found this enlightening.

religion- prideful: i am better than others because i am earning my salvation
sorrows: i cant make it, i am damned to hell

Jesus- humble: i have sinned, i am not worthy of God
confident: He died for me and loves me, now i can live in Him and one day with Him!
