These are promised us IF WE BELIEVE AND STAY ON THE LORD'S PATH.

No one is assured of salvation until death. We maintain our free will.
We Southern Baptists ARE, though. We read and get ALL of our information FROM the THE HOLY KJV BIBLE. The Bible tells us that he who should believe in Jesus will never die. YOU and the other MAry worshipped don't believe in Jesus. You believe in Mary and the saints.

Isn't pride one of the seven deadly sins?
There is NO MENTION in the Bible of "7 deadly sins". That is something the Mary-worshipping pope made up.

Okay...and if I leave the Catholic Church, hell is where I'll be headed.
Well if being with Jesus is your idea of Hell then that sure is where you'll be going. But once you give up your Mary-worship and become a Baptist you won't feel that way anymore. You'll be filled with the Holy Spirit and WANT to be with him.

Context, man. It's all about the context (and you take plenty of verses out of context).
I had to quote this just for the heck of it. A Mary-worshipping papist telling US that WE are taking verses out of context? Oh Lord I think I may have just pissed my pants from laughing so hard.

Sin not requiring execution, the way idolatry and sodomizing altar boys does.

Exactly. When will you GET on the Lord's Path? It's not too late yet!

You could still give up your Mary-worship and turn to Jesus!

Isn't pride one of the seven deadly sins?
Could you show me where these "seven deadly sins" are listed in the Bible?

    Thanks.

Okay...and if I leave the Catholic Church, hell is where I'll be headed.
Only because you have made it clear that you only intend to leave the Catholic Cult by dying.

Context, man. It's all about the context (and you take plenty of verses out of context).
And you just make things up to suit you.

Please show us where something is taken out of context, and put it back in. Casting out the same criticism without ever providing any evidence simply demonstrates your weak grasp of the Bible.

I've never said that I have not sinned. Before I was saved, I sinned. Now that I am saved, however, these verses apply:

1 John 3:6: Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

1 John 5:18: We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
Again, you redefine the definition of sin to make you incapable!

Isn't pride one of the seven deadly sins?

Who says that we don't love? We love people with enough Christian love to warn them away from hell. How loving would it be to let people go on their merry way to eternal damnation, without making an effort to save them? If that's what you call love, then I want no part of your sick and twisted Romanist version of "love."
Okay...and if I leave the Catholic Church, hell is where I'll be headed.

And I suggest that you modify your hellish doctrines.

P.S. See how I've refuted you out of 1 John, the very book that you've quoted against us? Pwned by your own arguments, Mary-hailer.

Well.... in Christianity we believe a sin is a sin is a sin because that's what the BIBLE says. I don't know where you get yours from, but we get out information straight from the Bible.

Wrong. Dracula IS a fictional character, based loosely by Bram Stoker on Vlad Dracul.
Though more correctly would be calling him Vlad Dracul. So maybe I should have been Lucard, hmm?
Great, now you're trying to make yourself into a contraction of that bald guy from Star Trek TNG.

Can't you get over this bizarre obsession with fictional characters?

What's next, will you name yourself "ICan'tBelieveIt'sNotBuddha"?

How about kroD? That seems to suit.

Good point. Once a person is saved and becomes a True Christian™, he no longer has the need to do any such thing.

You are quote correct! Equating stealing and rape is not helpful.

Stealing a cookie: Ex:20:15: Thou shalt not steal. A commandment - break that and you are damned for eternity! Unless you were crucified at the side of Christ, Who may forgive you.

    Raping a woman: De:22:28: If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
De:22:29: Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

There is no other punishment for this.

So clearly we see that The Bible says that stealing is a heinous crime against God and man but raping is neither here nor there and is, in fact, a way to get a wife for 50 Shekels.

    Praise!

PS Is that some horrible Ginger Demon clinging to your back in your avatar? Landover can rid people of demons. (Ginger ones cost more.)

Yes, a real woman. I'm sure one day you'll come across one too.
That would be a waste of my seed and the sin of Onan.
