  • A proposed new "Good Person Test", the childrens version

I was thinking we could pass this out to the grade school children when they come out of school. What are your thoughts? Do you think we should add anything to this?

I devised this new "Good Person Test" in response to other Christian "Good Person Tests" because I felt they were inadequate in many areas. I would like your thoughts on it. This one is directed at children under 8 years old.

    1) Did you ever pull on your mother's earring as a baby? This is known as dishonouring your parents and is a sin. You need a saviour.

    2) Have you ever told your parents you disliked a dish they cooked for you? This is known as dishonouring your parents and is a sin. You need a saviour.

    3) Have you ever told a fib? This is known as lying and is a sin. You need a saviour.

    4) Have you ever took a biscuit out of the sweets jar? This is stealing and is a sin. You need a saviour.

    5) Have you ever wanted a toy that you saw another kid at the park playing with? This is called coveting and is a sin. You need a saviour.

Say to child: Now that you realise you are a terrible person for committing the above said acts you realise you need a saviour. Without a saviour you could drop dead right this minute and you would burn in Hell for the rest of eternity. Hell is a really bad place, it's a pit of fire where you get sodomised by fire demons under your head explodes and then your body is recreated and it starts all over again. Do you want this to happen? Do you realise how terrible you are for doing these things? Will you accept Jesus?

    6. Have you ever thought that anything else was more fun or worthwhile than going to church and glorifying God? This is called having other gods before God and is a sin. You need a Savior.

    7. Have you ever thought that your parents must not be your real parents, or have you ever been embarrassed by them around your friends? This is called dishonoring your parents and is a sin. You need a Savior.

    8. Have you ever put off doing your homework until Sunday night? This is called dishonoring the Sabbath and is a sin. You need a Savior.

    9. Have you ever called anyone else on the playground by an impolite term? Jesus says that this is as bad as murder, and murder is a sin. You need a Savior.

    10. When caught doing something bad, have you ever denied it? This is called lying and is a sin. You need a Savior.

You can't say that to a kid under 8. 'Sides, who hasn't done at least one of those things, they're things you're supposed to do when you're under 8. All children grab a cookie when no-one's looking, or lie to stay out of trouble. In fact I've done all 10 of those things before, except for maybe number 1 - if I did I don't remember.
Now that, that don't kill me can only make me stronger.

What I meant was that they're normal things to do, they're not sinful.

So you're saying that because everybody sins, it's OK?

Must be part of your ACLU Equality Gospel.

Well, here's some equality for you, sonnyboy:
                James 2:10
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

That's right, in God's eyes, the child stealing a cookie and lying about it is the equal of a child-raping Catholic pedophile priest, the equal of a mass-Christian-murdering Cuban dictator, the equal of those evil Chinese who stole 315 Bibles from a missionary group, the equal of a donkey-bothering perverted Muslim furry!

They and you will all be equal in the fires of Hell!
                Bible boring? Nonsense!
Try Bible in a Year with Brother V, or join Shirlee and the kids as they discuss Real Bible Stories!
You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

I didn't say everyone was equal. Would you stop with the equality crap. I'm sorry but if you're little speech about any sin being as bad as any other sin is true then that's just retarded. How can stealing a cookie be as bad as raping someone? That's just messed up mate.

Then again, I'd rather be equal in hell to a mass murdering rapist cookie stealer than to be beneath any of you, figuratively or literally.

Take it up with the Almighty. Rev. Rodimer didn't write the Bible; he just preaches it.

And a Real Live Woman actually MARRIED you? Did you meet her playing Dungeons and Dragons or something?
