There is no reason to force Hispanic students to learn English unless you are trying to develop a culture of racism and oppression. Why do you think English is somehow better than Spanish? Already we are seeing an opening of cultural understanding in catering to Spanish-speakers. Go to a Wal-Mart and look down the aisles. Everything is bilingual. Driver's tests are bilingual. Any phone call you make to a business will result in a "For English press 1...".
The point is, no one needs to learn English anymore thankfully. It's always these backwards racist yokels that want to force English on people. Spanish-speaking immigrants have a right to speak their own native language and you have no right to make them change otherwise. EVERY student in America should speak Spanish. It should be a requirement for every white student to graduate, that way they can converse with the Spanish-speaking population which is taking over America.
There will be a day when our Congress passes laws in Spanish and the President will be giving speeches on television in Spanish. English-speaking people need to learn Spanish or they will be left behind.

And all Spanish-speaking immigrants should be forced to learn Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese.
All of the Asian immigrants have a right to speak their own native language and expect to be understood by Hispanics.
Why are you so racist, Jenny? Why would you force Spanish immigrants to learn Vietnamese? Is Vietnamese somehow "superior" to Spanish? Here you go with your white girl racism again! No, what I advocate is a multi-lingual nation where every minority group has the right to freely use their own language without having to learn English.
English, by its very nature, is a racist, sexist language. It is the language of the KKK, of the Republican Party, of the Dead White Male. It is impossible to seperate English from racism. They are one in the same.
For example, English supposes this sentence to be gramatically correct: "If a person joins this forum, then he is able to post." You cannot say "they", for "they" is a 3rd person plural pronoun. By default, English assumes everyone as male. This is sexist.
Of course, it doesn't surprise me that you would defend this disgusting language. <---racist smiley, should be brown-skinned

I, for one, agree with you. Since I spend a lot of time in border towns like Nuevo Laredo doing "missionary work," I've had to brush up on my Español - it really helps when negotiating a price. I soon as I save up a little more money, I'm gonna be joining Brother Rush on his next trip down to the Dominican Republic to promote family values.
Anyway, in the interests of improving relations between you Africanos-Americanos and the beaners, I thought I'd offer a few key phrases next time you find yourself south of the border:
¿Puede hablar jive?
Necesito una prostituta lesbiana
Tengo SIDA
Quiero ver una exposición del burro.
¿Dónde puedo comprar algo de crack?
Run that through the Google translator and I think you'll agree that these are absolutely essential expressions for someone like you.
By the way, I'm kind of curious: When you darkies speak Spanish, do you also got a jive accent? Could that have something to do with the flattened nose or big lips you people got? I'm not trying to be racist or anything, I'm just asking.
Anyway, good luck on your next trip to Tijuana. Wear a bulletproof vest, and don't drink the water. Have fun down there - I always do!

In the US, there is no such thing as an official language, unlike.. uhm, most other countries in the world.
Secondly, the language of God should be Hebrew, don't you think? As Jesus most likely spoke a dialect of Hebrew.
English is a young language, much younger than Christianity. English is a West Germanic language that originated from the Anglo-Frisian and Old Saxon dialects brought to Britain by Germanic settlers from various parts of what is now northwest Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands in the 5th century. The first Holy Bible was not printed in English, but most likely in Hebrew, Greek or another Roman language, as the Bible word was first spread orally, and when Gutenberg invented the book press, things really got popular and printed books got more and more poular.
Also, the language spoken in Mexico is not Mexican, but Spanish. Get it right, mormon. uhhh.. I mean moron.
A friend of mine works in the call center for some pet supply company (can't remember the name) and she said that everytime someone calls in and asks "habla espanol?", instead of looking for someone who speaks spanish or getting a supervisor, they're pretty much required to say "sorry, no one here speaks spanish, we only speak english, have a great day" and before they're able to hang up, the person who was speaking spanish suddenly learned to speak English! Who knew?
EDIT: Also, the language spoken in Mexico is not Mexican, but Spanish. Get it right, mormon. uhhh.. I mean mormon.
Why do you keep mention the mormons?? What do they have to do what you are trying to say - Well what do anything have to do what you're saying. Read the Bible.
