Many Catholic Bishops just met in Baltimore to take a course in the ritual of exocism. They noted that they need to be careful because the practice has been met with ridicule.

What on earth is wrong with doing with taking people who are possessed with demons out and stoning them? Is not that the Bible-approved treatment of this condition? I'm not a theologian, but this just makes sense to me.

Seems to me this is a very good idea. If its a bible approved idea.

Well Jesus did say that church elders would be able to cast out demons.

Matthew 10:7-8 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Luke 10:19-20 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

But if there is one thing I learned from watching the Horror movies of my youth, it is DON'T CALL IN A CATHOLIC PRIEST! They can't do anything for you. All they seem to do is sit there and talk to the demon while the demon mocks them.

Even the Bible warns us that the unsaved cannot cast out demons.

Acts 19:11-16 "Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded."

The problem with the Catholics and their exorcisms is they refuse to consider how the victim considered with the demon to be possessed. It was the victim of the demon possession who consented to have butt sex so they only have themselves to blame. Tough love remedies like stonings are what HAS to be done to help these sinners back on the path to salvation.
