    In a quandry

Recently, while flipping through the *gulp* secular channels to get to the 700 Club, Tom passed something on "man on the moon".
This, of course, started a mild debate (I have already been on my knees asking for forgiveness for being disobedient by arguing) between me and my dear Tom.
He says that man DID land on the moon, and I say that man DIDN'T land on the moon. After all, it isn't possible. God would have smote the so-called astronauts down for trying to reach above him!
Tom insists that God gave us the technology to accomplish such a feat so that we may one day take all the True Christians away from this hot-bed of sin and degradation and flee to our own world somewhere far away from here.

So, we agreed to ask you good historians to see what you think.
Did man land on the moon?
    Jesus is watching you masturbate.

Yes, man landed on the moon, why shouldn't it be possible?? If God didn't want us to explore space he wouldn't have let us invent rocketfuel and he would certainly have killed Von Braun in a freak accident before he made the V2 rocket to work. BTW, they didn't try to reach God, they tried to reach the moon. One can't reach God in any physical form.

"Men" didn't reach the moon, Americans did.

Tom is both right and wrong. God will separate us from the riff-raff, but with the rapture, not with rockets.

Obviously it's impossible to put people on the moon, just read about the tower of Babel. Nobody knows how high the tower of Babel was, but since it would have been made of mud-bricks it could not have been very tall. It would not have been taller than the World Trade Center, a recent attempt to re-build the tower of Babel that God destroyed.

Moral of the story: God does not like peeping toms looking into His heavens!

P.S. For a good laugh, take a look at these pathetic false-Christians trying to use all sorts of twisted logic to prove that the Bible doesn't say what it so obviously says:

Yes, but ironically with help of German scientists who once had to build V2 Rockets for the Nazi's. Nevertheless it was certainly a great achievement and it gave us a greater insight into the moon and it's surface.

Landover seems to have co-operated with NASA in 2004 to plant a cross on the moon.

NASA officials have unveiled their plan to put a cross on the moon by 2004. "This is an almost three billion dollar 'Thank you note' to our Almighty God and Savior Jesus Christ for watching over the missions of this agency for over 40 years," noted Mr. Scopes Goodall, Chief Administrator for the Moon 2004 mission.
                I especially like this picture:

                      Re: In a quandry

I've always been very interested in space and astronomy. But I've learned NOT to trust the secular "scientists" at NASA and the like, because people who believe that the Earth is billions of years old will believe anything.

Again, we have to turn to the only REAL science book, the Bible. Who better to ask than the CREATOR of the UNIVERSE?!!

I'm not sure about all this moon landing stuff, and space stations and satellites and such, because if the Tower of Babel was almost to reach Heaven, wouldn't we have already reached it during at least launching satellites?

I know that the devil uses things like "science" to entice us into relying on ourselves.

I will trust in the LORD.

Snot, just a small historical correction, I believe that was Goddard who originally developed rockets.

Von Braun was into radiation, i.e. ICBM's.

                            It's so easy....

See, the Moon is underneath the Firmament. Therefore it is Biblically possible to reach it. If they do reach it, it would be totally righteous if they planted a Cross on it and claimed it in the name of Sweet Jesus and the good 'ol US of A.

But everyone knows "the moon" is in a studio in Burbank. It's currently a hoax perpetrated by the the Hellywood thespians.

There is zero irony in there at all.
What happened was God took from a bunch of iconoclastic , idol, worshipping ,pseudo atheist catholic fakers , the work he had allowed them to think was their own.
God took back what he had inspired , and at the same time he laid low their pride and false hope that they would know victory.
He then gave that work to people who would make better use of it.
                              All part of his plan.
The whole Nazi thing was juat a way to draw a load of Godless scum into the open AND DEAL WITH THEM.
