On the Origin of the Species was the germinating, but not authoritative, work on the theory of evolution. Its title is immaterial to me, and it does not matter what insults you hurl at him. It does not matter if he is discredited, the skeletal framework of his theories, upon which evolutionary science has been based, has been proved over and over and over again, occaisional hoaxes notwithstanding.

So as an evolutionist you admit your own founder was discredited? How can you build a theory on a discredited foundation? Would you build a stone castle on quicksand?

I wouldn't be surprised if he starts quoting reports of Bigfoot to prove his case of evolution!

Are you aware that King James was a flaming homer?

Do you have any scholarly references to back up that assertion, or do you typically repeat whatever you've been told without bothering to find out whether it's actually true? I've also heard that claim, but the only sources I was able to find to back it up were nothing but Catholic propaganda.

Isn't there a way that both theories can be right?
To a supreme, inmortal being what could a day mean? if he was creating the universe he could have taken millions of earthly years, but to him that is a snap of his fingers, is it not?
And both evolution an creation have the same sequence of events:
In the beginning there was nothing, and so God said "let there be light" and light was made...
I'm no specialist, but if the planets and stars were created later on, couldn't it be the same "big bang"? because yes, there was light indeed on that explosion. What made it go off? who knows? but one option can definetively be God
Then God separated the waters above from the waters below... that, ladies and gentlemen is called the atmosphere. Again the sequence of events is correct.
Then came the creation of plants. The bible is right again because the first multicellular beings were some forms of algae, an then of course came the animals.
About the human race, sixth day for God, but many many years later for our mortal minds. Let's assume for the sake of argument that there weren't just a single couple of people, but rather a race.. a race of beings created in that day that separated from everyone else, made of thousands of Adams and Eves but they all commited the sin. So the sons of some Adams and Eves fought over each other with the "clans" of Cain and Abel. And the clan of Cain were forever condemned to walk the earth... until the universal flood, which is no part of the actual discussion.

Sorry, but that's just not possible. The Holy KJV Bible is the LITERAL truth of God. According to God, He created the earth approximately 6,000 years ago.
