Because he will have one of those moments that very believing christians have when someone else obeys them, as they hate sex, food and all other fun things in life, Mr. King you will be dissapointed when you die, oh well you wont as you cant think when you are dead, but maybe you can because just before you die maybe the brain makes some sort of drug that it sends out in the system and by that you think that you actually are in heaven by a moment, and that feeling maybe will be endless as you are dead. But a Dead person cant feel anything so that throws away that theory, HMM what could possibly happend when you die? As you can't come to heaven and talk to god because then you must have your head with you as the talking organs are there aswell as the brain, and you cant really say that all people that are dead will get beheaded and their heads are dissapeared either.

So when Hitler eliminated nearly every Jew in WW2 and when Stalin let 20 million russians die in vain. Was that "Gods Divine Plan so the meak can inherit the world?"

And another note. The book is probably written by human beings and not God himself. So there is a chance they did some mistakes that you guys is very serious about. Just searched the forum and it stood some guys wanted to beat their own wife. What sick men does really want to beat his wife? get divorced ffs

God could have prevented Hitler's execution of five to six thousand Jews during WWII (there were, and now are, many more than that), but chose not to.

He also could have prevented the deaths of millions of Russians. He could have prevented the coming deaths of billions to starvation and disease when global warming ruins the planet.

He can, but He isn't likely to. It is His Will.

You see, God knows everything and can do anything. So, if something we, with our limited human reasoning, think is bad happens, it is because either He made it happen, or He, knowing it would happen, allowed it to happen. We don't know His reasons.

That is the only answer to that question.

If there were "mistakes" in His Word, He could very easily correct them. If He does not correct something, then that means it is because He wants the Book to say what it says.

Getting divorced would mean committing adultery, then dying in sin and going to Hell.

Meanwhile, disciplining one's wife is perfectly acceptable, according to God's Law.
