Ok, I'm sure I'll get a good telling-off for posting the word 'testicle', but here it is. How would intelligent design answer the question of testicles? For you see, male avians (birds) have their sexual organs tucked neatly inside, and they only come out when it is time for the bird to mate.
Why is this not the case for human males as well?

For as the men here probably know, even a slight prod to that area is enough to induce pain, and kicking a man hard enough there can induce unbelievable pain and/or medical problems.

So, if you believe in intelligent design, how do you explain the fact such a sensitive organ, vital for reproduction and survival of the race, has been placed in such a vulnerable position, as well as being extremely sensitive? You'd think it'd be at least tough.

So then, flat-earthers, explain that one.

If you'd studied human biology at all (instead of focusing on birds, which aren't even MAMMALS), you'd realize that sperm are at their most efficient -- whether they're "reproducing" sperm or "wife's a slut/other-man blocker" sperm -- when at the right temperature.

Testicles draw up close for warmth when cold, and relax when hot, as part of an INTELLIGENTLY DESIGNED temperature-management system.

If they were intelligently designed, they'd be able to function as well from inside, or if not, then they'd be tough so that a slight poke wouldn't cause pain and a strong enough kick, crippling pain.

If they need to be outside, how is it that they are so sensitive to pain and so vulnerable? If there was intelligent design, then human men would either have functional testicles that stay inside, or tough testicles outside.

As to the temperature thing, that's stupid. Using birds as the example, when aroused their genitals come out. Meaning they would be perfectly able to regulate temperature once out. Do you see birds going extinct? I don't.

The fact is, human gonads are one of the best examples of un-intelligent design.

Could a Pastor please change the name of this thread? It's hard to read about Creation Science if we have to keep seeing this filth every time we sign on to the board!

Seeing as I'm here anyway, I have to say the answer is obvious. God created man in His image. God, being God, has His... you know what... on the outside because nothing can harm them! So when creating man in His image, He had to place... that stuff... on the outside, or man would no longer be in His image.
But He wouldn't want men to forget their place in the order of things (after God, before women), and even though the mess up in Eden was Eve's fault, Adam still took a bite so there must be a touch of punishment there too.
It's all so easy if you really think about it. But if you really thought about it, you'd be a True Christian™.

How do you teach a child not to touch a hot stove? You slap his little hand so he knows not to do that.

How do you make sure a boy protects his wedding tackle? Make sure he knows in no uncertain terms that it's not something to let his buddies kick!

It isn't just kicking that hurts them though. According to every man I know, even the slightest bump causes pain, and the idea of kicking them invariably makes them shudder and their hands go there to shield that spot. The fact is, hairy scary and the two bald men are badly made up and easy to put out of commission. An intelligently designed gonad would be tough or tuckable!

First of all, I do not believe in your god. Second of all, that passage suggests polytheism whereas I thought you were monotheists. OUR image. Let US. OUR likeness. And who are 'they' exactly?

And if that god were real, and were indeed the creator, and did indeed have a 'thingie' (for crying out loud, grow up and say the word testicle!) then surely he would have designed for himself a more convenient set of gonads?
Anyway, that argument is stupid seeing as we're arguing about the whims of a being I don't believe exists. The point is, those things are NOT 'intelligently designed'! At all!

Wrong, little boy. The way people have evolved, the inconveniently set-out gonads are still able to do their job. Not to mention, men have in all likelihood been playing with those things since time immemorial. Evolution takes time and a lot of it works around adaptation. Humans are firstly a very young species and secondly have found ways to protect the inconvenient gonads, thus the need to adapt is not pressing.
