Well friend, this is the place for it! I am certainly up for a nice, juicy debate. Now, I will take God's side. Which side do you want?

Scientists do research and that's how they know the universe began with the big bang.

Peter, I am a scientist, and I know for a fact that the Big Bang was just another empty "theory" that secular "scientists" came up with to attempt to justify their belief that there is no God. How immature is that! And honestly, it sounds like a three year old who's just had his mother walk in on him making a mess in his room and saying "uhhh it just went BANG and everything showed up!" Honestly, what person with even the most basic logical functions can buy this. It's absurd! Not to mention that it's not backed up by even a shred of proof! Not one! No one has seen the Big Bang, and no one ever will because it never happened.

Now hang on there friend. Is this how you purport to debate: coming in here, denying everything that our world is founded upon, and walking away? That is immature and certainly not in the spirit of good debate. If you can show any of us here where the Bible has been proven wrong, we will certainly be all ears. But unfortunately, despite all the attacks that have been leveled against it over the past 2,000 years, God's Word is the only thing that has remained constant in this world.

Use the abilities God gave you, and turn to the Bible for answers. You'll find absolute answers there, not these "theories" that scientists try to pass off as reality. Son, the earth has been warmer and colder in the past than it is today. I could easily claim that last summer was the coldest it has been at some point in the last 6,000 years and be very close to the truth. All this happened before any alleged human caused "global warming" occurred. Your only choice is to place your future, and that of your children, into the hands of the Lord.

If there was a god and if the bible was true, how come that there are so many incorrect things in it? (eg: It says that grasshoppers have four legs, that the earth was created 6000 years ago,...)
Science is the truth, because we prove things by experiments, not by a silly book.
