I base all my views on God's love.
The flood is metaphorical, the Old-Testament God is obviously more violent than the New-Testament god. Yes I disagree with them with the Morality that is given to me by God.

Jesus didn't seem to think so,

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.



Why don't you just rip out the pages you don't like or agree with? The King James leaflet you are left with will give you no confusion and will fit your lifestyle. You might have a bit of explaining to do on the day of judgement though,

If the Bible is not correct, then one of the following must be the case:

1. God is not all-powerful, and can't fix His Bible.
2. God is not all-knowing, and doesn't care that it's wrong.
3. God knows it is wrong and chooses not to fix it, so that we can all be confused, war amongst ourselves, and end up in His Lake of Fire anyway.
4. God does not exist.

Which of these do you think is the case?
