Ahem...
Where in the bible does it back up geocenterism?
Well, I don't really care about some book.
Let's see some actual science backing up you bold claims!

Just shows you how gay those scientists are. Talking about Uranus and displaying planets as balls.

You mean English?Originally posted by Alphonse Alban View PostYour arguments were not rude, they were stupid and it was clear that you had just copypasted them without even understanding yourself what you were trying to say.
Don't even start with me that crap about "english not your first language". Crying about that will only make you look more pathetic. As it happens to be, American is only my 3rd language. Of course as American is language of Jesus, it's the most important one but I learned American only after two other languages.
For the record, I understood the Spanish poster perfectly clear.

There's been icebergs breaking off from the arctic regions for ever. That proves nothing. So it rains in temperate and tropical zones. This is not news. Looks like business as usual to me. You're just seeing things you want to see in these pictures.Originally posted by hellfire Republican View Post

as I said, english it's not my first language, as I'm from barcelona, and I'm sorry to say that I'm not using any translation device or anything like thatOriginally posted by Zechariah Smyth View PostThat's a load of baloney. Re: Ridiculous make-believe pictures
Actually, there's a proof that there've been humans at the moon:
they placed a flag (an american one, by the way) on it, and you can even see it with a potent enough telescope
I'd like to apologise if my arguments or expressions have been rude to you, I didn't mean no offend anyone, just have some discussion (debate?, I'm sorry, english is not my first language, so I don't have a perfect domain of it)
there're around 24 geostationary satellites placed all around the sky, they're called geostationary because their position from the earth is always the same, you can even calculate what's the distance between the earth an them, comparing the kinetic energy and the grativaty potential, once those 2 are the same, the satellite will last one whole day to complete a period, same as the planet, and so they'll go together. Thanks to it we can have the GPS satellite navigation, which is able to tell near-exactly our position at any given time.
I read that my words are not accurate for someone with a second degree, well, I can't be accurate when I don't know who am I talking with, maybe there're people with PhD in engineering, or maybe there're some without even the highschool ended, that's why, I have to adjust my explanations to a low level (without, again, any meaning of offence)
you welcome

We have a International space station and satellites orbiting earth why do you think satellite navigation works?!
