I am not saying that the Bible is wrong. Because I have accepted science into my life, I don't see an absolute truth. However, what I'm saying is you should be open to other answers. Who are any of you to say what's right and what's wrong? Who am I to say any of that? Who are we to say what the word of God is? Maybe the word of God lies in mathematics! In fact, he created the universe and the universe is governed by mathematics! I think that is humbling to know. That God, our intelligent creator, has the knowledge and power to create something so beautiful.

I too, studied science. I (many years ago) got a Masters in Organic Chemistry. I too, knew God and the Book of Truths, the Holy Bible, was the one and only possible explanation for everything. But to be fair and to not waste the gift of Free Will, I studied the sciences.
What I found were possible explanations for everything. But no singular answer. Science simply is incapable of doing that. A lot of 'theories'.
So, after several years, I had a reasonable understanding of science on one hand and the Holy Bible on the other. I was put to task to make the most important decision of my life. Do I go with a lot of mere men, place my everlasting life in their hands, basing everything on a hunch or do I go with guaranteed Salvation and pure Truths provided by God.
So by giving everything a fair and balanced view, I made the only one logical choice.

And I wasn't accusing you of the hating having words put into your mouth thing. But you just backed up my argument. You are putting words into the Lord's mouth. Did he actually tell you that the universe is constructed in that way? Certainly not! You are making assumptions. When God created the universe, wouldn't he have desired to make it as elegent as possible? Probably! That's mathematics-the language of the universe. I would definitely agree that he created the universe with mathematics and then gave us the ability to decipher it.

What on earth are you talking about? First you came up with some "Who Universe" out of the blue and now you make even less sense. Lord says that universe was created in 6 days and earth is the center of it. Those are words of God, not ours.

This is very typical for secular "science". When they are faced with overwhelming evidence that they are wrong, they start to talk about fiction such as Star Trek.

I am not here to argue who knows more. If you claim to be very well educated in mathematics, good for you! Everyone should be! But knowing math is not the same as loving it.

Mathematics is the language in which God wrote the universe. If you want to love God, then why not learn to understand his language? Unraveling the universe and understanding it is as close to the Lord as you can get.

You don't need mathematics for that. You can just read from His word. Earth is the center of the universe, above us is the firmament and then is the waters above. In firmament God put two self-illuminating lights, stars and other celestial host. That's the whole universe right there.

No that is not what I said. For someone who claims to love science you are incredibly inaccurate. Please read my posts to figure out what I actually said.

Mathematics is not "silly numbers." Just simple calculus (that's the study of the behavior of functions, even though your uneducated mind probably doesn't care) is extremely elaborate and beautiful and even you are governed by it.

I am governed by God, not by calculus. And I am certain I know more about math than you will ever know.

God created universe in six days about 6000 years ago. If He would have needed mathematics in it, He would have said so.

I don't understand how you cannot open your mind to science, people! If God created the universe, then he also created math and science! If you all were actually educated, then you would understand how beautiful the universe is. Mathematics is the most beautiful creation of all. Couldn't you see it that God created science and math so that we can unravel the mysteries of the universe! And isn't the Bible worth questioning? I mean, it is just a bunch of assumptions and stories, probably made up or science is mistaken by magic. If, in the future, engineering (or science) brings time travel, and they were to travel back to our time, we would see their technology as divine, when it isn't. So, if God is the creator of science, then aren't you getting closer to him by tacking these questions?

Just because the Bible says something, doesn't mean it is fact. Please open your minds up to the world to help innovation in science and technology prosper. Otherwise, you are just wasted minds, and that is extremely sad.

Of course everything in the Bible is irrefutable fact!

God also created shit but that doesn't mean I want to sniff it all the time.
