Just because the Bible says something, doesn't mean it is fact.

Of course it means it is a fact, Bible is the perfect word of God. It is you who is blind, we see the God's world as it actually is. How it is described in the most accurate book of science, history and everything there is. How it is described in the Bible! You need to open your eyes for the truth and stop eating blindly the lies secular "science" is feeding you.

I don't understand how you cannot open your mind to science, people! If God created the universe, then he also created math and science! If you all were actually educated, then you would understand how beautiful the universe is. Mathematics is the most beautiful creation of all. Couldn't you see it that God created science and math so that we can unravel the mysteries of the universe! And isn't the Bible worth questioning? I mean, it is just a bunch of assumptions and stories, probably made up or science is mistaken by magic. If, in the future, engineering (or science) brings time travel, and they were to travel back to our time, we would see their technology as divine, when it isn't. So, if God is the creator of science, then aren't you getting closer to him by tacking these questions?

1.Gravity attracts things towards the objects center.
2. It has been proven the world is round, look at all the sattellites orbiting earth
3. There is nowhere that you can "fall off the edge of the earth"
4. The pictures are photoshopped
5. Just because the bible says something doesnt mean it is true (it could have been written by anyone for all we know

What is misguided is thinking the entire surface of an oblate spheroid can be seen at one time from one vantage point. Rather than vaguely refer to some "forgotten page," I will show you God's Word:

Matthew 4:8 (1611 King James Bible)

Againe the Deuill taketh him vp into an exceeding high mountaine, and sheweth him all the kingdomes of the world, and the glory of them:

This could only be possible on a flat surface. Take a ball and try to see all of its surface at once...what happens? That's right, you can't.

It can be mathematically shown that you are limited to seeing just less than half of the surface of a sphere from any given fixed vantage point. The Bible does not say that Satan and Jesus flew around the world, it says they viewed the entire world from the top of a high mountain.

I don't need any proof. God has described His creation quite fully in The Bible.

The Bible does not mention gravity, but it is taught in schools and so when God deniers post claims about it being "a force" I am happy to point out that we do know what scientists write in their books and that by their own standards what they are saying is wrong. The Bible also explains about the pillars upon which the earth is sat which would be very difficult to balance if it were a ball and in addition we would be able to see the pillars. But no matter where I travel no pillars may be seen. The Bible makes it quite plain that

I SAMUEL 2
8b ..the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.
KJV .. look up . context

Now I have seen people try to balance balls on things, not very successfully, and when we remember that God actually shakes the whole arrangement from time to time Job 9:6 the absurdity of such claims is obvious. A ball would fall off before long ..but here we are.
