What is wrong with you? You trying to ruin my computer!

You know it wasnt automatically deleted and it didnt have any viruses so i uploated the same picture to imageshack. So here's why earth haves seasons.

I have written this same thing in another thread about the earth being flat and I feel it is also appropriate with this post: With all respects, I am an athiest here but I'd like to find out more about your religion and I was wondering what your thoughts were on all the images that have been taken from the space station? Do you believe that these are perhaps edited? Also, did God say in the bible that the earth was flat?

Can I just say, if "Everyone knows the Earth is at the center", then why do so many people disagree with Christian beliefs about the earth being flat?

Also, why do you immediately make the generalisation that if he held a bible he would throw it at a dog?

I am quite confused as to why you generalise so strongly when you don't even know the person?

Also, if you think about getting defensive from this post, please pause, I am only curious and I don't mean offense.

None of this has anything to do with Gods love of a Flat Earth. Please stop trying to derail this thread, God hater.

Wow another one of these. Its all I see. As soon as you cannot answer the question or need stalling to lap up some ignorance and spew it forth here you say basically the same thing.

As to the actual topic. If you guys studied the language the bible was written in you would see that the word for circle and sphere are the same. In fact as a verb it means to draw a circle or to encompass in a sphere.

Oh gosh, you know what? You guys might have the wrong meaning... Is that possible? I mean thousands of unedited photographic evidence of a spherical earth and a centered sun cannot be wrong right?

For over 2,000 years, it has been common knowledge the Earth is at the center. A lot of people hate Jesus. My job is to fix that.

Another point, one which you like to bring up, God inspired men to write the Bible. Thus he relied on them to interpret his words and put it on paper. It even says in the Bible that God gives man free will, thus he will not directly manipulate (or posses) people to do his bidding. The only way he could influence people was to create a pure son and for that son to be a perfect example of what his message was supposed to be... Ok Im sure I havent tread on any toes here so far right?

Well here goes... If a benevolent being speaks to you and tells you a story or explains to you how something works, not in words, because according to your bible : whoever hears the word of God will be utterly destroyed. But in inspirational images, then it is only up to the scope of the current language to describe these things. Early on in the Bible, when the shape of the earth was explained, they only had one word to describe anything circular. They used it for circle, circling, curved, curving, sphere, spherical... So using the Bible to PROVE that the earth is flat is a waste of time. The Bible is there to inspire people to get to Heaven and to live a good life, not to teach us physics. That God left to us to teach each other using our explorative natures. Men being naturally curious.

Please give this stupid idea up about the Earth being flat. I mean, I have actually read posts on here that people claim they live at the edge of the world and they have almost fell off. Are you so desperate to fit in somewhere that you need to blindly follow something? Faith is great for something that you cannot see and is too great for our feeble minds to understand, but come on people. The science is already there. NASA is laughing at you.

Dont pretend you didnt know what I meant, Mr. Basher. As to drugs, no, I dont partake. As to the sun flashing in the sky down on earth... um no... NOT at all. It is a ball of burning gas that sends out light and heat and various other forms of radiation in every direction. Lets hope the sun doesn't start "flashing" anytime soon as that is a sign of sunspots becoming too large.

Burning gases? Please, it is a undisputed fact the Sun is made of burning coal. Please locate the appropriate thread and do your research and stop attempting to derail this thread.
