I don't know why you chose to misquote me, but it says fires of hell pretty clearly. I missed the "e" in "the" as I was typing from my Evo while in church today.

It was YOU that came here with your heresy and Godmocking. We did not advertise for you to come. As a matter of fact the website says you are unwelcome here. Yet, you come, you engage us, and you spend your time here. The website with thousands of followers is proof that we are doing just fine in life. It is you who is struggling to do well.

Since you all claim the world is flat using biblical evidence how comes you make the assumption that the sun is spherical? If the earth was flat wouldnt a conflex shape be better because a sphere would most of its heat radiating into space heating nothing?

These are the claims you make:
- The earth is flat?
- The sun is about 500 miles in the sky?
- The sun is about 10m across (radii)?
- The sun burns with coal?
- The sun rotates around this flat piece of earth?

You say the surface temperature of the sun is about 5000K which is about right but coal burns at a temperature of 2800K. How do you explain that? The actual burning process needs oxygen, 500 miles in the sky is space, there is no oxygen there, or air! Meteors start to burn about 40 miles (65 kilometers) up due to atmospheric friction. The drop in atmospheric density is obvious even lower. Most humans need supplemental oxygen above a mere 10,000 feet (3 kilometers) and the highest habitations have been near 16,000 feet (5 kilometers). So how is this giant ball of coal burning! Satelites orbit as low as 150 miles in the sky, the same satelites which provide you with satelite TV. Why do TV dishes point to the Sky when the earth is flat. Orbiting round a "flat plain" is almost impossible. If the world is flat how do those satelites stay in the sky? There is so many real life situations in which a flat earth would make them impossible. How does the sun orbit a flat piece of earth? What keeps it in place?

And its weird that you use scientific equasions such as "Weins Law" to prove that the sun is 500 miles away! Isnt science what you want to disprove? That equasion is not in the bible, so why use it?

The overall question was why use a scientific equasion, Weins Law, to prove the sun is 500 miles above when this equasion is not in the bible! Why use this little bit of science and then ignore the rest? That was my question, you quit being lazy and answer my question instead of changing the subject!

Because of a PROVEN theory called GRAVITY! Let that idea blow your mind. What happens when you drop an object? Oh yes, it falls to the ground because of the gravitational pull, it doesn't "fall off the 'bottom' of the earth"

Gravity isn't a proven theory, not even science can explain why it exists. Scientists waste millions of dollars to try and find a cause for gravity when the simple truth is Intelligent Pulling. God pulls things downward, when you jump it's God that tugs you back down to Earth. Otherwise you'd be able to jump all the way up to heaven. If the Earth were round the people at the bottom WOULD fall off because God only pulls in one direction so people don't fall up or sideways.

But what about when it was explained on this site that airplanes get pulled along the edge of the rim of the world making it appear that you are flying around the world? Why then does that ship topple off the edge of the world and not get pulled around by this intelligent pulling? Lapse in judgment?

To Felicity, who created some sort of 10 point infraction, I was merely asking how these pictures prove it as I am wanting to understand things better. Is it not our duty to strengthen our faith through knowledge? Is that not the biggest form of worship? To grow in our own faith so as to be better examples for those around us? Please do not alienate those who would like to learn... I am very disappointed.

Yup read through this already sorry as per evidence of me reading about the airplane etc etc. Sorry but your answer to everything is get to reading. I spent the last week reading the forums before actually joining and asking my question. There comes a point where the reading ends, you do realize that right?

I have only been around for a little less than a month, and for me answering the same questions has gotten tiring.

If you have been here that long, then you would know the proper thing to do first would be to write an introduction. Have you read the noobs thread? I doubt it. If you had, you would have found your answer by now.
