    How is that scientifically possible?

How can the sun set in one part and rise in another part of the earth if it were flat, and the sun sets and rises on the horizon.
You are trying to use spherical earth theory to prove timezones do not exist on a flat earth.

I believe others have tried explaining this to you with a torch.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
Ezekiel 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Genesis 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.

Neither of you answer my question:

How does the sun set on the horizon?

If it were an overhead spotlight, the sun would "set" mid-air.
If the sun would set beyond the edge of the earth, which it seems it does, it would be night everywhere. Which you acknowledge is not the case.

As I said before, you are using spherical earth theory, the sun moves across the sky. Just like in the torch experiment.

God can move the spotlight as He sees fit. The horizon you see is in the area you live. Someone on the other side of the world does not see your horizon so all of them are not the same. I used to live on the east coast and I never saw a real sunset so it never set on any horizon to me. God hid it behind the mountains until morning where I used to live. Now I don't see any sunrise or sunset on any horizon as IOWA is not coastal.

You talk from your perspective. Science is collective. Therefor this is not scientifically proven. Thus it is untrue.

Ohh sorry I didn't understand that right.
But the sun gets beyond (my / the) horizon. But my horizon should be about the same as everyones', because the earth is flat. Or at least, when it's close to the horizon, it should be close to everyones' horizon. But it's not. When it's night here, it's rising somewhere else and it's mid day somewhere else.

Where do you live Mr Wrist?

It is always going to be midday somewhere at a different time. That gives God time to move the sun across the sky so it will be directly above that place. The sun is big though as are countries, so of course it will not be directly above a whole country at one time.

God works the sun like an oscillating fan. You don't get the direct full impact of it unless it is directly in front (or in the sun's case - overhead). You can however still feel it somewhat elsewhere until it is turned off.

This is logical. Why can't you understand something so simple, Mr Wrist?

But what you overlook is the fact that I'm not talking about timezones now.
I'm talking about the global position of the sun.

Because it seems to me that your theories fail at disproving the facts I state.
Hence you're repeating your statement, relevant or not.

Look, we have gone over this so many times. We have proved to you that the earth can have different timezones.

The "position of the sun" is what gives the timezones.

oh I understand that logic. Surely. But that doesn't explain why it's overhead at one place and near or even beyond the horizon at another place.

That's not my point. How can the sun be on another ANGLE, in two different parts of the earth. Of course earth is big. But close tithe horizon means 2 things. Earth is spherical / curved, or the sun goes under the flat disk creating a global night.

Yes it does. Imagine sitting in your loungeroom with such a fan on. Some of the seating gets full impact of the fan, other seats just get a gentle waft and other seating gets none at all.

Yes it would be a good idea to do that. Do you have an oscillating pedestal fan available to you to try it?
