I'm not trying to be obtuse, just adding perspective.
I realise that a standstill car doesn't crash when it's owner dies. But when a captain of a moving ship dies (and he's alone), he would run into something sooner or later and the boat will be damaged and there's a slight chance it'll sink. But that's not by the hand of God, but common sense.

"one more hole", with that I meant a hole in the hull of a ship (under the water line). Fill up a bath / bucket, get a glass and keep it straight. (so the bottom down). The glass resembles a boat hull (an oddly shaped boat hull), and push it halfway into the water. Did water enter the glass? Not here. Felt that upwards pressure, making it harder to push the glass down? That's the floating capacity of your glass. Now push the glass innagain, and now slowly push it in far enough for water to poor over the edge. What happens? As water poors in, it pushes the air out, and the glass loses it's floating capacity. In fact, the glass sinks. That's because glass is heavier then water. But because it can hold the water out when it's straight, it floats.

It's like a reversed helium balloon; a balloon keeps the helium
in. A boat keeps the water out. But that doesn't require the air to be sealed in, because it has no reason to escape (as long as there isnnonhull breach under the water line, or water flows into it.

I hope you understand. I do not doubt God's ways, but I know that God is NLT the only thing making boats float. Like I said, according to the bible, it's by Gods knowledge Noah made his boat. God gave Noah the knowledge he needed to do what he did,

You're still assuming the empty boat. What do you think they are filling these giant ships with? Helium? No it's coal, oil, cargo boxes, and such.


I understand that you don't understand that the shipping industry would be bankrupt if they sailed their boats full of air.

Ship design. I suggest you look into it. Sealed air containers around the hull is the main reason is air that's sealed tightly between the two layers of hull. A lot of people have spent decades if not centuries developing ships to what they are.

If you want to read scripture, I suggest you call a nearby industrial shipyard.

GRAVITY GRAVITY GRAVITY GRAVITY!!!!!! Gravity is an electrical force (stick your finger in the power socket on your wall if you don't believe that exists either) and when you place trillions of electrons together they create a magnetic force so great that it would hold things to the object. Being that it is dense enough at the core to produce this much magnetism, that is why the Earth has gravity. Now you might say Magnetism applies only to metal, but no it does not. Everything is made of electricity. Your body is made of atoms, which in turn are made of electrons, protons and neutrons. All of them are electrically based, meaning everything is electricity. So therefore Gravity is plausible. Science has now tackled idiocy.

Here's an easy way to disprove the Bible's teachings as LITTERAL facts.





1:Take a group of forty people and have them stand in a circle in a large room or field.

2: Have the "first", lead, Person say a single sentence. Trying to convey whatever meaning they choose, without predisposition.

3: Pass the "Sentence"/"Meaning around the circle in a whisper, one person at a time.

4: When the "Sentence/ meaning" reaches its point of origin, see the difference between what was originally said and what it came to be.








Equate this difference to the Bible, it's many different versions and authors through the years.

If you say the world is flat, because it's described in the bible. Then by any science, including Christian science, you can not prove this by other parts of the bible. You can only prove this by real world science that leaves no other option.

If you don't want to, don't call yourself a Christian scientist and don't try and do experiments. Want to know if the worlds flat or not? Go to space. Ever imagined a "what if ...?". Propably not. That's not true science.

First, this thread is about the earth being flat, anything else is off topic. If you want to discuss other things, find the appropriate thread.

Second, God gave you free will to believe in him. You may want to revisit Adam & Eve.

I have proven all the presented spherical earth theories incorrect. You should go back and read the entire thread.

Now state your point on why you believe spherical theory is correct. Without using insults.
