I did not the topic is about the Earth being flat. Therefore I was still talking about the shape of the Earth and Interpretation to the the way the Earth would sit in space. Coincidently if the Earth was flat there would be no up nor down. As a matter of fact it would make travel and navigation very hard indeed.

The earth does indeed have a up and down. Everything is on top of the earth and hell is below.

Why would navigation be hard. People travel all the time.

Ah hell is Below but hell itself is not part of the world and in this case surly heaven would be above and Earth would be the middle thus nether up nor down.

Navigation:
Aeroplanes:- fly around the globe
Ships:- sail around the globe (where does all the water come from and go?)

what do both things have in common nether falls off the end of the world(I'll admit I am pushing that one with the plane a bit).

A bit off topic here but it is an argument for the same thing:

Maybe the Earth is round and GOD created this whole universe for man to explore and make his own chose about under the guidance he left. Heaven would then be the paradise that exists in the Universe above ours and hell the one below.

That raises another question though, what shape is the Universe: is it a linear (flat so to speak), a torus, a sphere (it would be the same argument but with less evidence on ether side ).

If the Earth were flat, then the only way for the sun to always set to the West would be for the sun to go under the Earth. If that were to happen, then it'd be night time everywhere, but this has never happened before.

Heaven is indeed above the earth. You can still have top or bottom. Imagine a layered cake.

Top layer - Heaven
Middle layer - Earth
bottom layer - hell

You would not want your cake to be upside down. All cream topping will be messed up.

Planes & boats travel across the earth. I do not know of anyone personally falling of the edge of the earth. But the early sailors with poor navigational equipment and skills did disappear. Some planes may have flown of the edge of the edge of the earth. Don't forget about the mysterious Bermuda Triangle which has said to make planes disappear. They may have flown of the edge without realizing it.

Man has explored the earth and it is flat. So I do not know a spherical earth could make it any different.

We have covered the sun movements before. The moves across the earth. The sun does not go under the earth.

Most disappearances in the Bermuda triangle are down to Pilot error, and most have been explained, but that region is notorious for electromagnetic storms which would easily bring down a light aircraft

How can they be explained if the planes have disappeared. There is nothing for the investigators to use for their investigations. I just used the Bermuda Triangle as an example that planes have mysteriously disappeared.

The black box has not always been in use. It only became popular post WW11 and even then not all planes used them.

...what you just said makes absolutely no sense. Of course I'm using the theory of a flat Earth to disprove itself, I'm pointing out a fallacy. It's not possible for it to be flat, if it were flat and the sun never went under it, then one day it would set to the west, and the next day it'd set to the east. If it went under the Earth, then how could each night be 12 hours?
