1) The earth is flat
2) Or the earth is a sphere and we have created magic vehicles that can fly out in space and take pictures of the world.
The answer is obviously 1.

You should read the bible before posting, or atleast the whole topic, these stupid questions have already been answered.

I have read half of this foolish topic. Enough for me to get the gist of the nonsense this whole site promotes.

Thinking the Earth is flat is just limiting your knowledge for all that is out there to learn about.

I have seen almost every shuttle launch by NASA in Cape Canaveral, FL. For miles from the launch site windows tremble.

Not only do we fly "magical" vehicles out to take pictures of the world, they are also out there to take pictures of OTHER worlds.

The universe is a vast and beautiful thing.

P.S. All of you looking at/posting on these forums are using computers that harness the flow of electricity to operate. It's pretty 'evil' technology! Ohhhhhh scary!

Some things we simple human beings just can't understand. We have to accept that some things will always stay a mystery. Like how magnets work? It is a mystery that humans can not understand

Hmm... well I am skeptical on your reasoning. I do mean to have good intentions, and I'm not some evil scientist. I am one in my lab who is trying to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease, so I'm not coming up with some crazy unbiblical theory or anything. I'm just using the gift God gave me. I just don't see why we can't understand something that has reason to it.

The cure for ALL diseases is prayer! Quit wasting your time.

First of all, if you get sick, its your own damn fault.

When you are sick, rely on faith-based medicine. Prayer and faith alone will cure you.

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. --James 5:14-15

For as it says in the Psalms,

The Lord ... healeth all thy diseases. -- Psalm 103:2-3

And as Jesus said to the woman who touched his garment,

Thy faith hath made thee whole. -- Matthew 9:22, Mark 5:34, Luke 8:48

Or just touch your religious leader's handkerchief or something.

So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. -- Acts 19:12

But whatever you do, don't go to a doctor. God is insulted if you trust science more than faith.

And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians. -- 2 Chronicles 16:12

Well couldn't God use your prayers to heal (hypothetically) your sisters disease, by giving me the gift to find the cure? Thus curing your sisters disease? It wouldn't exactly be a direct method of healing, but it is still God's doing.... right?

Well couldn't God use your prayers to heal (hypothetically) your sisters disease, by giving me the gift to find the cure? Thus curing your sisters disease? It wouldn't exactly be a direct method of healing, but it is still God's doing.... right?

The Bible doesn't give us enough detail to explain this, but it is reasonable to assume hell has a roof over it too keep the damned from escaping.

I meant, if God wanted to give mankind a cure for Alzheimer's, why hasn't he done so already? If God wanted to provide doctors with cures for all diseases, He could have done so long ago. He could even have never created that disease in the first place.

But He didn't. Think about it.

The verse is talking about Angels. They can do a lot of things that seem impossible to us.
