First of all a flashlight concentrates the light rays. The sun does not. Obviously if your blocking the rays from spreading out they can't reach everywhere

You are assuming the sun is a ball shining light in all directions even though there is NO evidence for that!

The sun was created to give light to the earth, and that alone. It is most likely flat just like the earth, and only shining in one direction.

However why is it that every day at noon (assuming it's not rainy and snowy like it is now :[ , I'm in canada of course) , you can see the sun. What then do you think happens when you see the sun setting over the horizon, once you can't see the sun anymore, since the earth is flat, no one can see the sun.
