Thank you Brother Basher, I must say that I read the links with increasing interest. It is clear that whilst some alternative proofs are available, the works of the Great Biblical Scientists go before us and should be used as a torch to illuminate our theories and the ignorance of the unwashed and unsaved masses.

I was particularly impressed with the "hull disappears first" refutation and the establishment of a truth in which we cam all believe.

That's not what i intended.
You know that we can only see color when it is lit by a light.
Now when the sun acts like a flashlight, the sky left and right from the flashlight is not lit, so it should be dark. But it is not.
So either: the sun does not work as a flashlight and so it does not explain timeszones vs earth is flat theory
or
Something else is illuminating the sky, that being what?

It is clear then that the sun only illuminates the earth. There is no evidence for the sun being “a ball” and where God resides - above the firmament (sky) which holds up the waters above - there is no sun or moon, but it is illuminated by the Glory Of God.

God's Glory may shine through the windows of heaven - that is up to God. In any event, the light of the sun is reflected locally back up to the sky giving a little extra illumination, is scattered and refracted by the air and the reflection of the beauty of the oceans which God holds back from the dry land is seen (locally - not where it is night, obviously) in the azure of the sky above.

Take a room. Take a light bulb. Now move the lightbulb across the room. If you look around you will notice it is lighter close to the light bulb than far away from it. The Sun works the same way. It's amazingly easy to understand actually.

Please note this will only work if the light bulb is on and no other light sources are available.

Not true because the earth is flat right. So that direct line of site over the horizon applies to the whole world. If it disappears over the horizon, that means that it disappears for the whole world over the horizon

Also that diagram from a couple pages back is still completely wrong. Timezone occur vertically with respect to the earth (more or less) , which means if it's day for you, everyone below you (once again more or less) geographically must also be during the day. So the sun can't be moving around like it is there, it needs to be sweeping the world horizontally for that diagram to be even remotely correct / aligned with your theories
