Absolutely my claims have been refuted. His ascent into heaven, and eventually ours, is the final departure from the earth we lived. We will turn back and take our final look at the earth in which we live, which was created, in its pure and true form... flat.

I do see the truth now. The lord hath taken me into his arms and flew me high into the heavens. From there, I saw that the earth is indeed round, AND AS FLAT AS A SILVER DOLLAR.

You know, one of the subsidiary reasons why we ask new members of our congregation to start their own thread in the Introduction Forum is to avoid derailing important threads like this one with irrelevant personal information. Could you please do that, so that we can continue to talk to you about your own personal demons?

So I went to church. I went with a big smile and open heart. By this time I was old enough to make this decision on my own. My parents never forced me to go, but encouraged faith. After like 3 years I came to my own conclusion (something my religious cult leader discouraged) that it was hogwash. I saw the deceit, the lies, the brainwashing.

Well, there's your problem. Why on earth did you choose to join a cult? Which particular cult were you a member of? It is greatly to your credit that you saw through their lies and I like to think that there is still hope for you.

It was a statement of generality mixed with humor. It went over your head apparently.

Absolutely it was my free choice. Someone earlier tried discrediting my education because I was following the docrination of the populace. So what do you think is happening to millions of American citizens? They're being raised in a country that predominantly accepts Christianity as the correct philosophy. If I were born and raised in north India, I'd be surrounded by Hinduism. I hope you understand this, it's important to realize it.

So now I'm happy with my life. I wake up everyday in a great mood, I go to work and school with excitement and am following my passions. Why can't someone be GOOD FOR NOTHING. I treat everybody in my life with kindness and respect regardless of who or what they believe because it makes me happy, and I don't expect anything in return. Nothing! Not even salvation from eternal damnation. You call me a bad person because I concluded that Jesus never existed. You folks will never be good for nothing. First off, you're not good. You wish death upon anybody that's not a white Christian extremist and you advertise it on your front page. Finally, you will never be good for nothing in return. You always expect undeniable faith towards you're selected congregation, and you expect Peter to open the gates for you into heaven. That's FAKE kindness if you ask me.

This is interesting. Can you tell us why you were briefly exposed to Christianity? Was this your own choice, was it sincere? And that exercise sounds a bit iffy but I am sure the youth minister can shed some light on that issue.

I know MANY people that have rejected God after years of being brainwashed, controlled, and extorted. They are much happier for it, and I believe you would too. You're afraid to though. Religion is designed to make you fear leaving it. You must stay, and donate, or else you will burn!

Haha I have been infracted by your overseer, your forum authority. While you all do not openly welcome criticism or open discussion, you did allow me to register and voice my concern with your hateful group and the terrible impact it has on this spherical globe. For that, I thank you.

Which by the way, I originally wanted to disprove the three elementary "experiments" given my background in math, science, and physics. I imagine it will be refuted as the devils work and a hoax, because you won't get it anyway. However, it would be very Christian of you kind folks to let me try to enlighten you. If you ask politely, I would happily give an articulate and educated point of view on the flat earth matter.

Otherwise I will now take my leave. I wish you all a happy and fruitful life. Also, I do NOT wish death upon you for your religious beliefs. (I'm truly offended btw). That's just my human nature speaking. I do wish that the government would stop protecting selective cults such as yours and exempting them from taxation.
