Fact of the matter, Im not a christian, but I can still respect it for what it is, but you my friend clearly have no understanding of the deep rooted message. None of that book is ment to be taken literally. The new/old testment is to provide us with morals and lessons. You however cant distinguish between that and the words on the page. It takes a deeper understanding. Anyone can read the words on a page but a truer person can understand them.

When I was 10, I visited the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles and I got to see Venus through that telescope. It looked like a big circle to me. To assume it's a sphere is making a baseless assumption. But you make it sound like we are irrational, yet we have the FACTS on our side.

Fact #1: the Holy Bible says the Earth is flat. Therefore it must be true, since it is the Word of God.
Fact #2: All of the logic and experiments we discussed in this thread prove a flat earth. You cannot say my experiments are false because you will get the same results every time, thus proving the Earth is flat.
