If Earth, was in fact flat, why is it that you cannot see all of the continents? Only North America and some of South America are visible, do you want to know why? It is because Earth is a sphere, not flat. I would honestly like to see somebody give real evidence that would disprove this.

If earth would be sphere, why ain't earth spinning erratically to different directions? If I take this heathen equipment called globe



and put some small weight to it's surface, it turns. So if sun would be big and had claimed gravitational force, wouldn't spherical earth spin according to people driving works or into hearing sermon?

These are given in an order which approximates how they were observed historically:
1. When at sea it is possible to see high mountains or elevated lights in the distance before lower lying ground and the masts of boats before the hull. It is also possible to see further by climbing higher in the ship, or, when on land, on high cliffs.

3. The earth throws a circular shadow on the moon during a lunar eclipse.
4. The times reported for lunar eclipses (which are seen simultaneously) are many hours later in the east (e.g. India) than in the west (e.g. Europe). Local times are confirmed later by travel using chronometers and telegraphic communication.
5. When you travel far south, to Ethiopia or India, the sun throws a shadow south at certain times of the year. Even further (e.g. Argentina) and the shadow is always in the south.
6. It is possible to travel round the world and get back where you started (with the loss or gain of a day).
7. An artificial satellite can circle the earth continuously and even be geostationary.
8. It is possible to photograph the earth as a sphere from space.
I know for a certainty that you people will not believe anything, even if i threw you up in space and showed that the Earth was round you would assume that you have been tricked or brainwashed. The Earth is round and if you want to live like people thousands of years ago then so be it, you are entitled to your opinions. I am not against religion WHATSOEVER, but believing the world is flat is barbaric and where I draw the line of stupidity. You guys told us to try out these methods of proving the world is flat, now how about you try out THESE methods to see that the world is round. But you won’t, you will quote a passage out of the bible and use it as defense for what I am saying. (At least try the first method about the boat and use your brain, if the world was flat then you could see the whole boat not just the top half). If you want to dispute what I said please go ahead, but I will not listen unless you give me proper evidence as to why method 1 is NOT proof the Earth is round.

P.S Yes i have been to countries where you can witness the above evidence. AND I HAVE TRIED OR WITNESSED MOST OF THESE METHODS MYSELF (including THE FIRST)

because this was taken in 1972 and they did NOT have HD cameras back then and also it was most likely taken on a cheap camera as their mission was not to take pictures =)
