1) Jump!
Now, scientists claim that Earth is spherical and rotating at a speed of between 700-1000 miles per hour, depending on your latitude. This is a very high rate of speed. You can disprove this nonsense by simply jumping up as high as you can. Really, it's that simple. What happens when you jump? You come straight down to where you were. But, if the Earth were indeed spinning at such a fast speed, wouldn't you land hundreds of feet away?

If you were to stand in the flat bed of a truck going 75 mph, and jump straight up, what would happen? You wouldn't fall straight down. You would fall out of the truck. That's because trucks move, the Earth doesn't. This experiment proves the Earth is fixed in space and doesn't move.

Ok, this part is wrong. Think about the times you are on a train or an airplane. If you jump on it when they are moving, you would still land at the exact same spot.

I just tried the train experiment (Virgin trains of course) as I was intrigued.

I jumped up in carriage 2 at 120mph and ended up in carriage 3 (I kept the carriage door open as I knew what would happen). So I can confirm Rev. Jim Osborne first experiment is 100% correct.

IraqVet69, you ignore all the evidence quoted by the OP and assert an already refuted point. Why would anyone partial to the fact that the Earth is flat walk off the edge? Do you want people to die so that your so-called "science" can be proved wrong?

By the way, there is something that is often overlooked about round-earthism: "scientists" may harp on and on and on about some centrifugal force that keeps us on Earth, but do you know that they themselves agree it is fictional? Yes, you can find that every source on the centrifugal force (even the Godless Wiki) mentions so. This pseudophysics is just another secular step to denying God's role in helping us stay on Earth.
