No, but Genesis 2:18 specifically says that man was alone and that's why God created beasts. And Genesis 2:19 says that he at that point God created "every beast of the field and every bird of the air" meaning that weren't any before that.

Actually, Dark Matter is quite a recent theory. They still believed in gravity before then. They are not mutually exclusive.

And for the record, I believe in God. I believe there is the higher power in some form. I pray every night for the safe being of my friends and family.

I believe religion can be the perversion of man. Whether that perversion be purely mistake due to a mistake in translation. Or maybe there was a purposely evil bidding behind it.
