Light is a wave, an energy, it is infinite, but is absorbed by matter, meaning that the lamp cover blocks the light and reflects it downward, light is pure energy, thus it cannot change direction.

it creates a cone shape because of the light rays spreading out from reflecting the cover. Then is stopped on the sidewalk because concrete has a low reflective quality.

Explain this.

My pastor told me that if there is a gravity, it's the force of God keeping us on Earth. He also told me that a good way to prove the world is flat to any science that they cannot argue or deny is that you can use a ruler to measure the horizon and the horizon is always flat. He said that also airplanes couldn't go places if the world were round because then we would just fly tangent to the Earth, which we obviously can't do because we would reach heaven and God can't allow us to do that unless He ended our lives. I just don't understand why science is so wrong. The Bible has been around much longer than modern science, why do they have to deny the word of God?

Hmmm, I'm at a loss then. Unless you were stating that you didn't believe in Jesus, because that in itself is being hateful to Christians. You see, Jesus, Who is both the Son of God and God Himself, temporarily sacrificed Himself to Himself so that anyone who believed in Him could have everlasting life.

To reject that gift is a rather hateful thing to do. Did you reject Jesus anywhere in this thread?

Here is what the Bible has to say about magnets and how they work. It's another of God's miracles, like rainbows or how children resemble their parents.

If you choose not to believe in modern science, then I should hope that You remain as far away from children as possible, because without immunizations, you can carry various diseases that can greatly harm other human life. And I asked an earlier question that no one has answered as of yet, " The old and new testament has slavery, the old testament actually gives specific directions on how you can own one and for how long and how much they are worth."
So that leaves me with a few questions for you before I get out of your hair.

We don't have slaves because it's against secular law, and the Bible tells us to obey the law. Same thing on disobedient children. But once we elect a Godly president, we hope to apply Biblical law here in the US of A.
