Ok first i would like to mention. Anyone who believes this theory is first and foremost a dumbass.

Has anyone ever jumped on an airplane? do you fly through the back and out the tail of the plane.

Ok what does the edge of our so called flat world look like? and how do people fly in one direction or take a boat and end up in the same place? some magic fucking teleporter?

And if you got high enough you would eventually see the curvature of the earth you just need to be higher than any average plane flight and way higher than any mountain or building.

And a balloon has a mass of around 0.01kg and the earth has a mass of around 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000kg so the amount of gravity that a balloon omits is 1/600,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000th the amount that the earth omits. therefor there is no reason for the paper to stick to the balloon instead of the earth. and as for the whole the sun is much more massive idea well the thing is the mass of the sun is definitely much more than that of the earth however it is also 150,000,000km and as gravity rapidly decreases with distance the sun would NOT pull you straight off the earth.

hope i have increased you IQ to atleast 7 or maybe even 8 but i bet you guys will come up with some irrational argument as to why i am wrong.

IN FACT IT IS CAUSED BY SPINNING, THE WATER WOULD STAY INSIDE THE BUCKET DUE TO THE FORCE, IT FALLS OFF THE OUTSIDE BECASUE OF THE SAME FORCE PUSHING DOWN. AND HAS NOTHING TO STOP IT, BUT SINCE WE ARE ON THE GROUND, THAT IS WHAT IS STOPPING US.

First off, I want everyone who reads this to understand that whether or not they actually agree with these people's theories you should be proud of them for wanting to know about the world around them. It is a wonderful thing to look upon the beauty that surrounds us in our everyday life and question "why?" and "how?".

The part that bothers me about your theories regarding the "flatness" of this earth is your reluctance to keep and open scientific mind about it. There was once a time when the Church and organized religion embraced science simply because they thought that learning more about how the world and the universe worked we were bringing ourselves closer to "God" or the "Creator" or whatever you wish to call him/her/it.

I would be most elated and I am sure like a true father, god would be most proud if you all would just try even if it was just for a second to consider the possibility that perhaps most things that were written in the bible two thousand years ago might have been worded to make the most sense to the people at the time.

I can imagine that if the bible was created for the first time today the vocabulary would more suit our slightly more accomplished understanding of the world. I also thought it might also be nice if I had been able to share with you guys/gals some information that I found about a creationist scientist who had read the same scriptures as you all have but came to an altogether different conclusion about the spherical nature of the world.

In closing I just felt it necessary to re-iterate the point that while are all looking up at the endless sky and across our bountiful earth marvelling at it's wonder and beauty we should never stop questioning "why?" and "how?" no matter how sure we are of a reason, because that ability to question is what brings us closer, always.

Basically, big things make a dent in Space, and other things ‘roll’ or ‘fall’ towards the source of the dent. If they have enough speed and momentum, small things can circle round and round the dent forever. If they don’t have enough speed, they fall into the dent and eventually settle next to the object that made it.

So planets, comets and asteroids roll round a gravity dent made by the Sun. The Moon rolls round one made by the Earth. Rockets and satellites get launched to the edge of the gravity dent and roll round it until it’s time to come back down.

And the skies, oceans, deserts, glaciers, trees, animals and people of Earth all sit in the depths of a dent in Space created by the planet – stuck to its surface by the force of gravity.

This is circle as in 'disc'.

God had the words available in the Hebrew language to describe a sphere,

Isaiah 22:18

If it is a sphere he could have described it 'like a ball'
