It is different when an individual is making a point about themselves, whether in jest or seriously.

I can guarantee that a number of times, maybe not all but definitely more than once, there has been blatant talking down to women. Not going through the forum because I laughed enough going through it the first time.


It has all been discussed throughout this thread and also in threads in the Creation Science area. You will find the answer as to the depth there.

I think I read at one point that it was 500ft or some garbage. One world: Drillers. Pretty sure they go a couple miles into the earth. Just throwing it out there. Besides the countless other arguments that I can use, which a simple Google search will find.

So you are a jew by birth, rather than a practicing jew.

Indeed people think for themselves. Unfortunately not many in the forums that I have read from here. And no, I am not talking about Atheists, scientists or Agnostics. Unfortunately it is the Baptists I have a conflict with. Just because I don't follow your religion I am going to hell. Keep in mind..we believe in Jesus. He was one of us, and it has been proven we did not kill him.

Even if we did kill him...how would your religion have succeeded if Jesus didn't come back to life?

What I am getting down to is that I have posted 2 other times on here and already at least once been told I am going to hell for being a Jew. Means a lot coming from a group of people who basically believe Jesus came back to life (kind of like a zombie if you really think about it) and all that fun stuff. Many of our stories are similar, and people like the ones in this forum are the reason I stopped believing a long time ago. By the time I was 5 I am pretty sure I already knew enough that man had misinterpreted the words of God.

The point isn't to follow the words to a letter, the point is to live a good life. Be tolerant of others and don't do stupid things like murder, stealing, etc. Pretty sure all religions can believe in that: what makes yours better than almost any others?

I am pretty sure I didn't teleport at all. Could be wrong. Is there anything in the Bible about teleporting? I may have missed that part.

I love reading topics proving science wrong. So here is my argument.

1) Let's not take a fast moving truck for example. Let's take a cruise ship (or any massive tanker/ship) travelling at 50 - 80 km/h. If you were inside or on the deck, and you jump, you will land on the same spot. Because the earth is so big, moving at 700 - 1000 mph to us feels like it's not even moving.

Also because there is gravity, but since the experiment didn't want to provide arguments as to if gravity exist, I won't explain it either.

2) Who says australia is at the "bottom" of the earth? If you were in a spaceship looking at earth from outerspace and your spaceship is tilted so that the earth was upside down, this will defy this experiment as being wrong. From outerspace, there is no top or bottom. North and south is made up so that humans can figure out directions, on earth.

3) This experiment mentions curvature. Because the earth is so massive, the point where the earth curves cannot be seen by the naked eye. Ok fine, the higher, you go, the farther you can see right? Than how come if you stand on the highest building in the world, using a 1,000,000x telescope, you cannot see china or "the farthest country" from us?

What you will begin to see is outerspace, even if you look straight ahead with your telescope on the highest building in the world. Which means that the earth curves.

I am in no way saying religion is wrong or whatever, I just don't think the earth is flat.

That is exactly what I hope to make you understand. You, in fact, are not making a solid case. By taking my arguments out of context, yes, it seems I am flip flopping. It is called playing the devil's advocate. If something didn't happen, but what would happen if it did? If you read the Bible you should be able to take note of all the contradictions.

And back to the tolerance of others: I am fine with you believe what you will. I will not try to make you believe what I do: that would be intolerant.

But stupidity is just fact. When you choose to believe fairy tales but not science because something wasn't talked about in a book written thousands of years ago, I think there may be a problem.

Anyway, I am heading back to work. See, I work at a place where I can use my abilities taught to me in technology classes. It IS about following the Word to the letter and in fact private interpretation is a sin. Jesus was not a tolerant man. There is NO scripture relating to tolerating sinners at all. Our aim is to live lives with a WWJD mindset.
