If you want to calculate the periphery of a circle, you need to multiply the radius of that circle with 2 and with 3,14 (rounded off)
Well, the earth has a radius of approximatly 6 378.
2.3,14.6 378km = 40054km, that's big! So it is ALMOST straight, because the angle is like almost 180°. And like I told you, the gravitational force forces us to go to the centre of the earth, not arround it...

That sounds like a factor of 3, not 3.14.

Second, if it did.. It'd probably move as the scientists say it does -

So the question remains, why doesn't we get sucked into the sun?
And a better question yet, why doesn't the objects free of the earth get sucked into the sun?
How come those satelites, space-stations and what not that the scientists have put up there doesn't get sucked into the sun then?
WHO OR WHAT IS PUSHING THEM FORWARD?
And why doesn't the earth outrun them if we it keeps moving forward ceaselessly?
