God has called on me to begin an evangelism mission on a science forum full of atheist science nerds. I am already winning some souls for the LORD! PRAISE GOD!
seeker #1: This almost infinite cosmos must have at least other earths out there somewhere. I suspect that planets like earth are very rare, but never the less because of the infinite number of galaxies out there, there has to be perhaps, thousands of planets with intelligence out there. So the question is for the last time. Did these other worlds also need the son of god to be sacrificed there as well? The good pastor should be able to answer this simple question surely.
Me: I haven't answered your question yet because there are so many things wrong with it that I'm not sure where to begin. First of all, the Bible makes it clear that stars are not super-massive balls of gas millions of miles away. Stars are lights affixed to a firmament that are small enough to fall to the ground and be stamped upon. Several of them can be held in your hand at a time. (Gen 1:14-17, Isa. 34:4, Dan 8:10, Matt. 2:9, Matt. 24:9, Mark 13:25, Rev 1:6, Rev 6:13, Rev 8:10, Rev 12:4).
These "galaxies" and "planets" you are so concerned about don't exist.

Seeker #2: as far as the stars and the firmament, please dont pull old testament quotes on that one. it never indicates a firmament in the old testament, and i can explain every quote you brought in. im jewish, and i can tell you that not only do we not believe in a firmament (except theres a possibility that there can be one out the outer limts of the universe, but even so, the stars would be inside that), we also are ok with life on other planets, and we are pretty well versed in the old testament...
Me: I've read all the pro-science apologetics, I watched the fake moon landing that was filmed in a Hollywood studio, and I've seen the computer-generated Hubble telescope images. I'm not impressed. You seem to buy into all that nonsense, so this is just something where we will have to agree to disagree.
However, if there is no firmament, then what separates the higher waters from the lower waters? What did God open to allow the higher waters to rain down upon the earth to cause the flood?
==================
Seeker #3: Do you believe that the "firmament" is below the clouds?
If so, how do you explain travel by plane?
Me: Of course not. What a silly question!
The stars are affixed to the firmament, and we can clearly see that the stars are above the clouds.
================
Seeker #3: So since you beleive the waters of the flood dropped through the firmament, you're saying that water released in space will fall to earth?
Me: Space? Heaven is above the firmament, not your science fiction outer space. I think you've watched one too many episodes of Star Wars. Beam me up!
================
Seeker #4: Why doesn't Heaven show up in any of the Hubble Space Telescope pictures, then?
Me: Those computer generated pictures only show what the computer is programmed to show. Those pictures are artist's impressions.
================
Seeker #3: Maybe if you actually invented a rocket ship (instead of one of these things CLAIMED to have existed by some crazy world-wide conspiracy with some shadowy goal) you could go up there, chip a hole and go to heaven.
Me: That's been tried twice. The first time was in 2242 BC when they tried to build a tower that went all the way up to the firmament. God confounded human language, and that's why we have all the different languages we have today.
The second time was in 1999 with the launch of just the sort of rocket you are talking about. This time, God confounded the units of measurement and the rocket crashed.
GOD IS NOT MOCKED!

I will report more progress as the LORD continues to bless my mission.
